The trouble I went through to get these plates! The moment I saw them, I fell in love! I had to have them! I first saw them on another company’s site. I quickly placed an order. They were shipped by another shipping company. Once I received them, most of the saucers and bowls were broken. I quickly returned them and reordered again. To my surprise, they were broken again during shipment. I was very frustrated and disappointed! Again, I returned them to the company I ordered them from. So, got the idea to see if I could order them through Amazon. Sure enough they were available to order! I was happy to see that I could and placed an order. Not only was the shipping fast, but there were no broken plates, bowls or saucers! The delivery was quick and smooth! This is such a beautiful set. I always get compliments on them. Great price and beautiful design.

These dishes are amazing. They’re about the average weight for what you expect for most dishes. So nothing like super light weight, but also not ridiculously heavy either. They’re sturdy and pretty solid. I love the two bowl sizes and the two plate sizes with no mugs. I have so many mugs already that the thought of adding more made me say no to a lot of set. All of the sizes are just what I was looking for. They clean fairly easily and are both microwave and dishwasher safe. I have yet to put one of these in the dishwasher and have it not come out super clean.

I do love this set of dinnerware, but do have a word of caution if you plan on purchasing multiple sets. If you want multiple sets, you really should order them all at once. I first ordered 2 sets of service for 4 place settings of the “Gibson Elite Green Lantern Service for 4 (16 Piece) Double Bowl Dinnerware Set, Teal, Soft Gray, Dinnerware Set”. The first 2 sets arrived together very well packed in boxes with lovely color graphics on the boxes. I liked the dishes so much that I wanted to buy an extra set of 4 place settings, so I would have 12 of each in case some broke in the future. This third box came packed very well packed in a plain cardboard box, no color pictures, just information stamped on the box. It seemed that the third set was made in a different factory. The color of the bottom of the dinnerware of the third set is a lighter color (dark green) and the bottom of the first 2 sets is almost black. See photo of them stacked in the dishwasher for comparison. The color of tops of the dinnerware from all 3 sets are the same. I didn’t bother sending them back the third set because they are basically for backup. The dishes are very well packed for shipping (we live in a rural area, bumpy dirt roads, so I was impressed that no dishes arrived broken). Also, depending on your dishwasher, the dishes do take up more room in the dishwasher, but I’m okay with that. We’ve been using them for a month and no cut marks so far. As other people mentioned, they do get hot in the microwave, but that’s not un-manageable and food does look beautiful on them.

I absolutely love this set. They look beautiful and are exactly like the picture. I don't notice any scratches on them after use. They also dry really fast. I would be careful though, I poured soup into the bowls and they immediately cracked and broke. That is a safety concern. I wouldn't put hot food in them such as hot soup. Let it cool down a bit before. I also wouldn't trust putting them in a dishwasher for the same reason. We hand wash these which can be an inconvenience for some. I do still love the set and use them everyday.

I am really impressed with these beautiful dishes. They look just like the photo and are even prettier in person. I've been impressed with how sturdy they are. Have been using them for a couple of months now and no chips or cracks. One bowl came broken during the shipping but I reached out to the manufacturer and they sent me a replacement right away. Super easy to work with. I love these dishes - they add a wow factor to the table for sure.
