These dishes are absolutely gorgeous! I am proud to use them with my guests. They came packaged so securely it seemed to take forever before I was able to finally see the first piece and I was amazed at the beauty of the glazes. They are heavy and seem durable because of the thickness. The cereal bowls are larger than some reviews had indicated. Just the right size in my opinion. It is a great idea to omit cups which are not useful and to instead include the dinner bowls. The first meal i served was chicken and dumplings for which the dinner bowls were perfect. The Juno Moon design blends well with most any decor as it is basically a gray with only a tint of light blue showing through depending on the light. Really love our new plates and bowls. Really like the shape of the pasta bowls and cereal bowls. Both plates are a perfect size. May take a bit of getting used to having the ridge around the edge of the plates but it stops my kids food falling off which is great. Bought two sets for a family of 5, really hope they last the test of time. They are a gorgeous colour and look very elegant ... show more

I loved these dishes. Just what I wanted design wise, but.... PROS: Solid dishes, beautiful design, mugs replaced with needed pasta bowls, shape of cereal bowls was good size and easy to hold. CONS: Very heavy, plates did not stack well, flat bottom did not allow for easy pick up - especially from upper microwave. They are also much bluer than shown in photos. If the plates were the traditional plate shape so I could get my fingers under them to pick them up, I would have kept them and adjusted to the weight. But, with arthritis and neuropathy in my hands, I could not handle them safely. Otherwise, they are an excellent choice for dishes. ... show more

They are nice to look at and the ridges on the plates are great for kids to help with their utensil skills. The salad bowl/plate is large enough to contain everything you like on your greens of choice. Also nice for Frito boats.

I was really excited about these plates and I had looked at a lot of sets before deciding to buy these ones. I even purchased 2 sets of these so we would have plenty for guests. While the set is pretty I can already tell that they will not last long. Unfortunately, even though they are heavy and feel solid they are not...I have only had these dishes for a few months, they haven't even been used every day, and I have 2 plates that literally snapped in half in the microwave. These are supposed to be microwave safe but I have had 2 times of the plates in the microwave splitting right down the middle. I was standing nearby both times when I heard a loud cracking sound from the microwave. When I checked to see what made the noise my plate was cleanly split. I will say that even with the plate splitting the glaze did stay in tact and the break was clean. This has been very disappointing experience. Now I am sure I will need to replace all of my dishes much sooner than I thought I would have to. It's just a matter of time before the entire set is ruined. ... show more
