the bed arrived quickly. I am consolidating my bedroom and office into one room. I chose this bed because of the amount of space below the bed. The diagram showed that it had an under bed height of 61". I am 60.75" tall so I thought this would be great. It is! I actual stood under it with a slight heel in my shoe and still did not bump my head. Since I am short I can also sit on the bed and still have clearance between my head and the ceiling. This bed is exactly what I was looking for. The only draw back is the ladder rungs hurt your feet if you do not cover them with cushion. I did read that in a review before I purchased the bed, so I purchased some foam covering for the ladder, and it works great. It would be nice if they could include this in with the purchase of the bed, since it seems to be an issue. But if a purchaser does their homework you will expect it and plan accordingly. ... show more

Putting this together was fairly simple. There's plenty of room underneath for storage. Now for the bad parts, the ladder is terrible on your feet without shoes. The overall stability is VERY shaky and doesn't appear that it will last for very long before something breaks. All in all I'd say this is subpar quality for the price and we will be replacing this with something better before too long. Money would be better spent somewhere else. Changed to 4 star review due to them refunding me $100 dollars on my order. ... show more

It shakes and creeks a lot when climbing up and down, the screws come loose once a month, i also didn't get all the polls with the bed and they have fought me all the way on sending me one pole to go under the mattress
