Honestly, now that it’s put together I’m VERY happy with it, my 3 year old has been begging to get out of a floor Spider-Man bed thing and we got him this, my ONLY issue was that one of the pieces of the foot board was cracked and had a sharp edge in the middle inside, but completely out of the way so no real issue there. The instructions honestly looked intimidating but if you lay all your parts out before you start it’s very easy to follow. Pretty sturdy, I’d say the slats aren’t great strength so make sure you get a thin box spring, we just have a 8in mattress on there as of now.

It's a bit of a pain to build, but I'm gonna give it a mixture of user error and frustrating instructions as the cause of that, but my daughter loves I and it's solid. My only real complaint is that the supports included are not enough. I used a piece of 3/8 plywood on top of the slats to give it the much needed support. It could do with at least 3 more slats to give it what it needs. I opted out of assembling the bookshelves right away, which is why you don't see them in the pictures. I'm unhappy that they're mdf and not real wood like the rest.

My son absolutely loved his new bed! The fact he has space in the bottom as his little hang out! The bed is well made and sturdy. Came quickly. Did take a bit to put together. Looks awesome and the color is nice. The height is perfect! Not too low not to high! Definitely recommend!

The media could not be loaded. Honestly the instructions are a little confusing, there’s one step that feels like “do everything.” Overall it was easy to build, my son loves it. It’s a great size for his room and I put a cot mattress under the bed for more resting space and our pets hang out under there. There were extra parts in the kit, and the delivery could have been a little better. One of the pieces came broken due to mishandling, but it wasn’t so broken we couldn’t use it. I wouldn’t blame the company for that though.

It is what we hoped for! Sturdy, fun and perfect for 7 year old + friends. It’s much bigger than the pictures make it look.we love that it’s not super high so we aren’t worried about injuries form falling out. Also love that it fits standard 10” mattress just fine.Took me and my brother 3 hours so it wasn't too bad definitely a two person job if you wanna make it easy on yourself. Well worth the money!

I so badly wanted this to be a perfect order for my 6yr old. The set up took Time as expected but once it was completed and it was Time for the setting up of the LED lights it did NOT turn on!! And after awhile, when it does turn on, it flickers it’s not a consistent/stabled light. I thought it was a problem with my electric outlet but it’s not.

4 star product, 5 star price! Nothing can go terribly wrong while building it. Not too many visual imperfections. Holes all lined up good enough. Tips for Building: •Make sure you line up both shelf backs exactly where you want them before screwing them down; don't have the bottom sticking so low that any weight could sit on it. •Make sure you line up the shelves with the same reveal across the fronts before screwing on the L brackets. •If the cross bars that hold the bed are a little short, screw them to the side that doesn't have shelves first; if one side is going to break, you want it to be the side where the shelves are since they would catch the mattress. It could use some sticky back felt pads for the legs, shelves, and ladder legs. Overall a great product, plenty of hardware to make it sturdy, and a great price.
