This item arrived earlier that originally posted. The large rectangle box was damaged in several places and very heavy. No damage was noted with the inside components. There were no written assembly instruction, just several pictures. This item is just about impossible to assemble by one person. The smaller screws need to be a half inch longer. A cargo strap was required to tension the bunk bed in order for the screws to be attached. I would not buy this product again or recommend it to anyone. ... show more

Our bed didn’t come with instructions, or enough screws. We had to download the PDF, which was not ideal. Definitely takes 2 to 3 people to assemble. The bed is fine for the price. Can’t expect more for $200.00. Besides having to go buy more screws and find the directions online, assembly isn’t too bad, but definitely takes longer than 45 min as advertised. If your looking for a decent bunk bed set up this is a good option. ... show more

    • Not worth the money if your looking for long term use
It wasn’t bad putting it together however the ladder wasn’t measured right so the bottom couldn’t get attached to the actual bed frame because it was too short. The bed itself started to squeak less than 6 months of having it

When all the bolts are tightened, it is solid. The whole bed is not shaking, which is quite safe for children who like to play. When friends come to visit, he definitely saves space.
