First of all, I am in love with sugar skull and when I found out that they have the badge holder with carabiner included, I told myself I gotta have it. The shipping didn’t take long at all. The only downside is that the holder itself takes challenge to take it off and put it back on. It’s not like a regular holder where you can just put your ID card in it but no. I had to slide up and down to open the back of it. It was a challenge at first but all I could tell you if you’re one of those people that needs to clock in or swipe your badge, then this is not for you. It takes practice to get used to it. But I love it so much. I’d get it again someday.

This is made of hard, durable plastic. The back slides off for easy access to insert your ID or card. I use it to protect my access card to my gym. It still allows the reader to scan the card. The lanyard is nice to have and it also has a retractable pully clip that can be used. This is a great combo and a great price for the durability.

I love it! It has a detachable piece so I can stick my keys in my pocket. I love the retractable keychain for my fob. The only improvement I’d ask from the manufacturer is to make it emergency breakable.

Overall this functions like any lanyard. I have two complaints that are just warnings, not enough to lower a rating. 1) Because the badge cover is plastic, it clanks if you have keys on it as well. Very noisy. If you're bothered by noise, you might not like it. 2) It may just be me, but I had a hard time figuring out how to get my badge in the case and hook up the badge so it connects to the lanyard. I ended up rigging something up so connect my badge. So it falls off a lot. The lanyard is amazing. I stand by my 5 stars. Just some warnings for noise sensitive and brain foggy people like me.
