    • Perfect for what we needed!
We recently moved to a smaller house that was supposed to have two extra bedrooms. We thought fantastic! We have a guest room! Well, turns out one of those bedrooms is more like a walk-in closet. There's not even enough room for a twin bed. I'm not sure a crib would even fit in there. So that meant we needed to have something available for guests in the other room, which we use as a recording studio. Since the room is mostly a recording studio, we didn't want to set up a permanent bed because we needed the space most of the time for the studio and due to the room's weird layout, a murphy bed was not possible. We also didn't want to get a rollaway bed and have to haul it up the stairs every time someone came to visit. A futon is too big for the space and a hideaway loveseat bed would have completely blocked access to the bookcase. The only thing we found that would work turned out to be more than we spent on our studio computer. I love my family and friends, but they can sleep on an air mattress at that price. So I was totally ecstatic when I found this thing on Amazon. It looked exactly like what we needed, was affordable, and the reviewers didn't seem to hate it outright, so we gambled on it. I'm so glad we did because it's exactly what we wanted! It fits perfectly in the space and set up is a breeze! It has legs hidden in a zippered pouch in the back for when it's in chair mode and is quite sturdy as both a chair and a bed. The design fits our aesthetic as well and it works great as a chair when playing instruments. The bed itself might be a little narrower than a twin, but I haven't slept on a twin bed in years to really compare. Our guest sheets were for an older full-size bed we no longer have, so they of course are too big for this bed or a standard twin. My mother was the first to get to use the new bed and she said it was comfortable, though a bit on the firm side. ... show more

These bed chairs are exactly what I was looking for & the price is fantastic! The chair is comfy to sit in & really easy to fold out into a bed which is firm. I use a thick topper mattress pad on top to make it softer. These chairs sit a little low, but are easy to get in & out of. They look nice & I highly recommend them! ... show more

2year Update: This chair has held up great! I use it every day. I’ve converted it to a lounge and a bed. Not to comfy as a bed but ok for one night or short stay for a guest if you cover it with a nice comforter. It has held up well. I paid less than it’s offered for now but I would say it’s worth the money. 1st picture is when I got it 2 years ago. 2nd picture is today. This chair is beautiful. I got a little nervous while waiting for it to arrive, since I’ve never even considered ordering furniture from Amazon before, but I am so super happy I did! It arrived quickly and was packaged well. Ignore those other reviews wherein it says you’ll lose the hardware as it was packaged inside a pocket in the chsir and fell through. Mine was packaged nicely and separately in a small box with the kegs to the chair . So easy to put together, 16 screws for four legs and you’re done! The color is amazing! The price was great! It is a little firm but that means it will last! A little advice...when you receive the package it indicates “this side up”, so do put the package on the floor by those directions. take a razor blade and cut through all packaging tape that is around all edges on top and the top cardboard will easily come right off and the rest falls away and you can begin to assemble. Took me 10 minutes tomassemble with included Alan wrench! I am over the moon with this chair and seems my dog has already claimed it 🤣 ... show more

A little heavy to move around when delivered but almost no assembly. Super easy. The chair looks great (electric blue) and is comfortable to sit in. I haven’t laid on it, we’d only use it for a bed in a pinch. One thing I didn’t notice is that you really need the pillow all the time as it covers the zipper to access the legs when folded out. I like the pillow, so it is fine. Just didn’t fully understand that. I notice my photo seems a little dark - I think that’s my lighting. It looks as depicted. ... show more

Bought two of these chairs for my kiddos to use in the loft and they LOVE them. They are in the chaise position most often, but are perfect size as a chair and will be great for sleepovers! The chairs are firm but comfortable. Great purchase!

This chair is great. I love this chair so much! I recommended it to a friend and she ordered also. I use it in my home office and I wanted it to have a reading nook and to have extra sleeping space. At first I thought I would have to send it back due to the smell but it dissipated a few days after unpacking and assembling it. It’s the perfect height from the ground up and I don’t feel like I’m sitting too low although when you open it up to the full twin bed, it is pretty low. It’s is not comfortable as a chair or bed. In chair it has a board across the front that is very uncomfortable. I have had it two months and it sounds like it’s going to fall apart. It’s just started squeaking with every move. I am very disappointed.
