I have used Boomers for years on my long scale basses so thought I would give these a try on my short scale. They are GHS boomer quality and all that. But the .95 E string just dosent sound good at all. I am used to a .100 or .105 on the E string. I tried adjusting my bridge to compensate for the sad sounding E string but could not get it to sound well at all. Maybe should have tried the .107 set. Wasn't worth the $25 for me. ... show more
