This product has worked great. We needed it for a door lock that we didn't realize was bluetooth and not wifi. This device turned it into a wifi door lock and now we can control our locks from anywhere and also see who is coming in while away.

This is easy to install and very small, but it carries a huge potential: Connect very short range bluetooth to long-range wifi so you can connect remotely to your smart devices through your wifi router. I need it for a smart door knob. Now I can manage the door knob in all sorts of ways remotely. Excellent product at a very reasonable price.

This allows your Bluetooth only devices to connect to your WiFi for remote control. I had previously avoided buying things that did not have the Wi-Fi in the device, but having this mini BLE Gateway makes it quite easy. I had two door knobs that did not have the Wi-Fi connectivity and now they work remotely because they’re connected to the Wi-Fi.

this is gonna be a weirdly specific review, but this gateway is something I've been needing for my switch bot button pusher devices. I have several switches around my house that I would like to convert into smart switches without having to permanently change things, and the button pusher devices allow me to do that, however, as those devices are bluetooth LE devices, they only connect or are accessible to automation when I am nearby for them to connect. That's where this bluetooth gateway comes in handy. This device connects to my BLE switches and puts them onto my wifi network, allowing me to control them from anywhere, not just a foot away. Now, bare in mind this use case is very specific to anyone using BLE tuya compatible devices, and really only if you want to run automation commands (like turning certain lights off when you leave the house, etc.) but since that was my exact use case, this is a near perfect device. My only real complaint is that in this day and age, there is really no excuse for a new device to come equipped with micro-usb. USB-C is the world standard and everything should be on this new protocol at this point. Barring that slight point of contention, this is an awesome device for someone with my specific needs.

Get the Wi-Fi device. This Bluetooth really is pointless. You have to be close but I couldn’t get it to work anyways

The gateway was very easy to setup and get it paired to my lock. With the gateway I can easily unlock and lock my lock remotely without being near to the lock. The signal strength is great and the gateway stays paired to the lock without issues.
