    • Authentic and amazing!
I verified the authenticity through the GHD website, and it is in fact authentic. My hair doesn't like to hold a curl so cheap irons do nothing for me. This one is a game changer. It heats up before you can blink an eye. You only have to hold it for a few seconds to create a curl, so the whole process is so fast. My hair will actually hold the waves for about 2 days.     • No temperature adjustment
It's a good curling iron. I liked the slick surface that allowed me to pull it through the length of my hair. However, I am returning mainly because it does not have a temperature adjustment. The company claims that it maintains set temperature ideal for making curls, but I found that it gets much too hot for my hair. Additional issues were that it makes beeping noises when it is turned on/off and the shape of the "cool tip" which is not convenient and resulted in burns to my fingers. ... show more

This is better than the standard curling iron for sure, never pulls or catchs. However there are no heat settings.

    • Disappointing
I read many reviews of this product and saw the comments about the chronic blinking light and less-than-ideal performance, but I went ahead and bought this for my wife anyway. A $150.00 curling iron should be made of gold and last forever! When my wife returned from vacation, she placed the curling iron and the box it arrived in and said "Send this back immediately!" She further stated that this curling iron didn't curl and worked more like a hair straightener. I cannot recommend this product. ... show more

    • Short Product Lifetime / Terrible Customer Service - Avoid!
I bought this in April 2018 and have spent many hours trying to get a refund (without success). After about two months of very low use, the swivel electrical connection stopped working, ie. no power. The website has a stupidly short return time, it's obviously a 'Grey' market item so the manufacturer doesn't honor the warranty. Also, if you remove the annoying little 'hologram' plastic tag on the power cord (as any normal person would), they won't even talk to you, as it contains some kind of magic serial number. It is impossible to contact this seller and trying to track them down takes you through a rabbit hole of drop-ship companies. Personally, I would have nothing to do with this seller, but if you do, watch out for the 'return-by' and warranty dates. Just a note - this is not a cheap product - I expect professional hairdressers would buy/use such a thing and i can't believe how quickly it broke. Perhaps rethink the GHD brand too! ... show more

This curling iron was beyond my expectations. I am thrilled with the results and would recommend this product to anyone who was interested. It heats up super fast, stays evenly hot until I'm finished with it, and because of the ceramic barrel, my curls are shiny and last all day!

    • Constant beeping when turned off
Revising my review... after another month the curling iron does not work at all. Worked great for the first 5 months and I fell in love with it. But now when I turn it off but leave it plugged in it starts making a constant beeping noise until I unplug it, even though it is turned off. It also seems to be not heating up as quickly or getting as hot. ... show more
