This is a good hot iron for my hair type. I don't have overly thin hair nor do I have heavily course hair. It offers ONE heat setting. The technology is to adjust to your hair type. I LOVE it so much more than my Babyblis which I have used for almost 12 years. I only need to go through my hair 1-3 times, depending on what section of my head I'm working on. My hair is smooth and silky. No snagging, pulling. I wrap my hair at night to keep out the kinks, puffiness that can occur when I sleep and when I wake the next morning my hair is silky soft and straight.
