This is the best hair tool I've ever used, and I've tried them all. it gives beautiful results, wet to dry, and when smoothed over mostly dry hair. The only thing I would change is the weight, it's kind of hard on the wrist. However, you get a beautiful blow out that lasts for days, so you don't need to use it often. This is such a scam. If you have tried the revlon brush, this is nothing like that. I usually buy the dry bar brush.. which I love and have been using for years. This brush is nothinggggggg like those blow drying brushes. I have curly hair/ wavy hair that is also frizzy. I turned this thing on and immediately no, it’s basically a straighter that blows hot hair. If you want to sizzle your hair completely OFF be my guest. But take it from me a REAL person. I bought this in August last year for around $266 (with tax), and at that price, I felt it was a worthwhile, but somewhat overpriced investment. Right now it’s listed at $429 before tax, and I’m just going to say it: that pricing is outrageous for what this tool is, even though it performs extremely well. Performance-wise, it delivers. I use it weekly on wet hair and it does exactly what it promises - smooth, voluminous, salon-styled results with much less effort than juggling a round brush and a dryer. My hair is fine, curly, and frizzy, and this brush leaves it looking polished and full, without heat damage issues. There is a learning curve, but once you get the hang of it, it’s incredibly convenient. I don’t find it heavy either. So yes, it works - really well, in fact. But the jump in price to the $400+ range takes it from “worthwhile splurge” to “borderline absurd.” As much as I enjoy this tool, I wouldn’t recommend buying it at the current price. Around $150 would be a realistic and fair value. If you can catch it on sale around what I paid or lower, grab it. Otherwise, there are more budget-friendly ways to get great results without feeling like you’re paying luxury prices for convenience. ... show more

I've had both Shark and Dyson blow dryer brushes, and this has bested both of them for me and is my new go-to. Every time I use my Dyson or shark, my hair is smoking (not in a good way lol), my smoke alarm literally goes off from the burning products. I think if you have extremely healthy and silky hair this would work for you. However, I have slight damage through my ends and the ghd gets snugged on there pretty easily. Kinda makes me afraid to use it. Between the Dyson, ghd and t3, so far the round t3 has been my go to. Wait, last thing, I bought the ghd with intentions of traveling with it. Since I’m too afraid to try it again I have but I do think the ghd would be great for travel and can be easily stored since the bristles are metal and not brush like. ... show more
