I burnt my ear with this tool! It’s so freakishly hot. Should be advertised as a hot brush not blow dry brush. I can’t even imagine the damage it does to hair. The product is very heavy too. This is the best hair tool I've ever used, and I've tried them all. it gives beautiful results, wet to dry, and when smoothed over mostly dry hair. The only thing I would change is the weight, it's kind of hard on the wrist. However, you get a beautiful blow out that lasts for days, so you don't need to use it often. I have fine hair and was amazed at the volume this brush produces! I wasn’t sure it would work for my length of hair, but the knobby bristles hold the hair on the brush. It cuts down drying time and it’s very efficient and effective by having the brush and dryer all in one. The tool is slightly heavy, but it’s not a concern since drying time is reduced. This brush is solid (heavy) and a very well made, quality product. It is not the best at drying hair - a blow dryer is faster and easier to use first. The Duet does not pull out as much hair as I expected. It is basically a one trick pony but it does straighten my wavy hair to my satisfaction. Love this hair tool. I wait til hair is 70% dry and then it finishes the drying process and leaves it straightened and smooth. The color is AWESOME. Some have said the tool is heavy, but it is not an issue for me. I'm only 5' 2" and my arm does not get tired.

I have fallen in LOVE with this dryer/hair tool. I used my AirWrap for years with very long, butt-length hair but felt it failed to give me the volume I needed after I cut it to a bob. Not only does this tool give me a sleek yet voluminous bob every single time, the styling is done in under 15 minutes. One added bonus is that it is much less noisy than typical blow dryers. My only pain point is that it isn’t ideal for hair that is very wet, so if you are in a pinch during your styling time, I recommend hitting your hair with a traditional dryer until it is more damp than wet before using the Duet. ... show more
