This is a great wand. I have the straightener and it has served me very well. So I decided to splurge and get this from GHD as well. I ended up returning the one through Amazon because GHD has had sales all summer and it was a much better deal from their main site. However, the wand is amazing and I’m glad I purchased it. I've tried 100s of different curling irons, but this one out performs all of them. It's extremely easy to use and it doesn't pull my hair out when I'm releasing the curl. The best for crating beach curls. The wand doesn't turn colors, like most do over time. The only downside is the is no different levels of heat. It's just off and on. A bit pricey , but worth it.

There is zero temp control . The iron gets hot and cold randomly. I exchanged the item they sent replacement, I was out of county. Now they have changed me twice! I returned both items . One used and defected the other NOT OPENED NOT USED Amazon only refunded although I was charged twice. Omg I’m done with Amazon

I got this curling iron as a gift for my girlfriend since her old one was on its last leg. She likes doing those big, soft curls and this one looked fancy enough without being over the top. It’s got a thicker barrel, so it’s better for longer hair or if you want that loose wave kind of style. She tried it out right away and said it heats up quick and doesn’t fry her hair like some others she’s used. The curls actually stay in, which I guess is a big deal—especially since her hair usually goes flat in like an hour. It’s got a smooth finish too, so her hair doesn’t snag or get weird dents. Couple little things though. It doesn’t have a clamp that holds the hair tight, so if you’re not used to that, it might take a minute to figure out. Also, there’s no temp control—just one setting—so if you’ve got really fine hair, that might be a bit much. She was cool with it, but not everyone might be. Overall, she seems happy with it. It’s not the cheapest thing out there, but she said it works better than a lot of the other ones she’s tried. Her hair looks good, and I didn’t have to pretend I know how curling irons work—so I’d say that’s a win.

My cousin talked me into buying one of these. Shes a hairdresser. Its an understatement to say she is a master of her trade. When she curls my hair with this iron, it genuinely comes out incredible. Beautiful, voluminous curls that last for days. She doesn't even use hairspray, just texture spray. When used right, this curling iron really gives you unique curls. I bought one for myself and honestly, if I had no idea what this iron was really capable of, I would say this is an overpriced POS. Its not- but I genuinely can't get the hang of it. I tried. The curls wont hold longer than 5 minutes. Couldn't figure out the right technique. Couldn't stop burning myself. I tried a few youtube videos. I think ill just stick with my $40 wand that burns the crap out of my hair. I look forward to the next time my cousin curls my hair with this iron, but I am all set with using it on my own.
