I was a little shook when I received 'troubleshooting' tips via email before this even arrived. Should have known there would be issues. I paid almost $200 more for this than my other two purchased as this is my third ice machine and they had to be replaced after just a few months. Apparently paying more doesn't mean anything as this did not work right out of the box, which to start you have to run it through two clean cycles (a brand new machine!) And discard the first batch of ice. This did make the first batch, which I threw away as instructed, then it wouldn't make any more. It only made ice from the water in the bottom, water won't come from the tank. The 'add water' light would not go off even though it was full of water so we had to go through all the troubleshooting steps. Didn't matter, this WILL NOT MAKE ICE. $355 and no ice. Great. Then when I emailed them their response was so insulting, they wanted me to send them pics of me cutting the cord to 'prove' the machine was disabled. The machine CAME disabled! So I told them I would just return it and buy another brand, which I did. I'm so disappointed though as the machine was super quiet and the first ice it made, while it made any at all, was the perfect size. But I definitely am not comfortable getting another of an item that was not functional on day one!

This is a great icemaker. This is my 2nd nugget icemaker. This is my 5th countertop icemaker. Ive never been truly happy with them. The bullet style melts fast and is always dripping all over the place you're constantly having to redo the water to clean it out because something got into the water. Im doing the same thing with this icemaker as my other ones and I had ro change the water daily from something being in the water. This icemake I've had almost a month now and I've not had 1 speck of dust, hair, dirt get into the water tank. Thank goodness for that. I have ice at all times. It takes about 90 min for it to fill the basket completely. The ice stays well frozen and not melted and dripping all over the place. It is a big unit bigger than any I've ever had and the 6 inch clearance does take up alot of room but it is worth it. It is a work horse. My daughter needed ice so I made gallong bags for her in 1 day when I noticed it was full I just filled up a gallon bag and I had 3 gallon sized bags filled in 24 hours and I had enough ice. I was never without ice. I did have an issue setting it up and it kept saying low water. I went and followed the video directions to reset the fill level and it took 15 min but it started working immediately aftwards. Ive heard alot of issues about noise level. I honestly dont realize its even on most of the time I'll hear ice drop but not the machine working. Once you get it going its super easy to use. The clean option is really nice and easy to use. It's not quite 10 min per cleaning cycle and it says to do 3 when cleaning the machine so less than 25 min. The other nugget icemaker I had was noisy didn't make very good ice. Water dropped all over and I heard that going all day and night. So this one is so quiet compared to the other one and the other one the ice melted within a couple hours its almost 24 hours before I notice any of the ice melting. It's expensive yes It's bigger than others The ice is great It produces alot of ice. It's the most quiet counter icemake I've ever had It keeps ice cold for over 24 hours Ice is clean and free of any debris Cleaning is easy I was hesitant to buy this ice maker because of the price I did buy a "used" one but the box didn't look like it'd ever been opened. I WOULD BUY THIS ICEMAKE AGAIN IN A HEARTBEAT! I would even buy it at full price. It's an amazing unit and it is by far the best I've ever had. I do wish that the water tank was detachable but that would probably cause more issues later on than not having it Even though I did have issues in the beginning once I reset it its been amazing. I was going to take one star off but I love it so much I'll keep all 5 stars

This machine makes a lot of ice fast and the ice is great. However, with the way it’s designed every time you remove the bin to get ice, the bottom of the bin leaks water all over the counter. Too much of a pain to return but I wouldn’t purchase again.

the Gevi ice maker is VERY nice, we waited two hours with it sitting upright after we unpackaged it, then began the cleaning process with ice bin full with in two hours. the ice is small nuggets and the ice maker is quiet . now that we have been using the ice maker for about a week, i have to say i love the fact it automatically turns off when the ice bucket is full of ice. !! so very nice.

Read and followed instructions. Added water, tried cleaning and ice making cycles repeatedly (12+) only to have low water indication every time, machine hummed but never pumped water to make ice. Advice from customer service no help. Returning it, extra ice basket, and bottle of cleaning solution back to Amazon.

Great ice maker! It starts making ice in just a few minutes, runs quietly, and is very easy to use. The ice cubes are a good size and perfect for drinks. Compact design fits well on the counter. Really happy with this purchase!

I ordered two of these as a gift for my daughter. The first one didn't work so it was exchanged for a different one. The second one not only didn't make ice, it had clearly been used before she got it. It's not worth the time and effort to try a third time. Disappointed!
