I have water trapped in between the ice bin. The company didn’t hesitate to send me a new ice bin. They were great! Keeps the ice in the bin longer than any ice maker we’ve owned. We did a melt test in an old collapsible cooler. The ice lasted 2 days. Timed it for efficiency and it takes about 30 minutes to fill the bin. Very pleased with this ice maker!

I'd hate to wax poetic but I like it. It works. I've had this ice machine for over a month and I've used it just about every day. I'll do a pro and con list. Pros 1. Easy to set up plug it in let it run for like 2 hours run a water cycle 2. easy to use its got 2 modes of ice when it's off you can change the size of the ice bullets 3. fairly easy to clean its a button and takes maybe 10 mins to run a cycle I normally run 2 4. makes a nice amount of ice for a single person. I love ice and put it an almost every drink I live alone and I don't have any complaints about the amount that's made 5. ice making is steady. Cons 1. the ice is not held cold like ice in a refrigerator freezer (the chamber is not a cooler) so it pretty much melts the instant its dropped or when it's put in a drink. 2. it can be kind of loud the wiring noise can have me questioning the motor 3. I kind of wish it came apart more for through cleaning 4. It takes 10 minutes to make ice so I have to wait 20 mins to have partially melted ice So my review, I work its expected with what I spent I would definitely prefer a fridge with ice maker but my small apartment didn't come with one.

The first ice machine did not work I returned it. The replacement machine works great. Had it a week now and it is working great. I have a suggestion. There needs to be a way to drain the water from the melted ice without draining the water from the gallon reservoir. Customer service at Gevi was easy to work with.

I was a little shook when I received 'troubleshooting' tips via email before this even arrived. Should have known there would be issues. I paid almost $200 more for this than my other two purchased as this is my third ice machine and they had to be replaced after just a few months. Apparently paying more doesn't mean anything as this did not work right out of the box, which to start you have to run it through two clean cycles (a brand new machine!) And discard the first batch of ice. This did make the first batch, which I threw away as instructed, then it wouldn't make any more. It only made ice from the water in the bottom, water won't come from the tank. The 'add water' light would not go off even though it was full of water so we had to go through all the troubleshooting steps. Didn't matter, this WILL NOT MAKE ICE. $355 and no ice. Great. Then when I emailed them their response was so insulting, they wanted me to send them pics of me cutting the cord to 'prove' the machine was disabled. The machine CAME disabled! So I told them I would just return it and buy another brand, which I did. I'm so disappointed though as the machine was super quiet and the first ice it made, while it made any at all, was the perfect size. But I definitely am not comfortable getting another of an item that was not functional on day one!

The media could not be loaded. Very nice packaging, and perfect size for my space.This ice maker is great for parties and especially for night ice tiki drinks, it makes so much clean ice that I do not need to use my refrigerator ice machine. It produces enough ice for 8-10 people and it looks attractive on my bar area.very easy to use ,to fill and to clean.

the Gevi ice maker is VERY nice, we waited two hours with it sitting upright after we unpackaged it, then began the cleaning process with ice bin full with in two hours. the ice is small nuggets and the ice maker is quiet . now that we have been using the ice maker for about a week, i have to say i love the fact it automatically turns off when the ice bucket is full of ice. !! so very nice.

Our freezer doesn’t have an ice maker and I hate trays. We also have limited counter space. This machine takes up less space than my Keurig. These are bullet ice cubes in a large (which isn’t very big, maybe the tip of your finger) and small (not tiny pellet ice like Sonic). However, we use filtered water to make the ice and it comes out pretty soft. When it’s in water for a few seconds, the ice is soft enough to crush on the roof of my mouth with my tongue. I like chewing ice and this method protects my teeth. I’d definitely buy this, again, so long as it holds up. I’ve had it 30+ days and it’s only off mostly at nighttime, so we don’t hear it run. It’s not very noisy. Ice takes about 7 mins to make. Turn it on and give it about 30 mins and you’ll have enough ice to fill two big tumblers. Recommend this over Frigidaire’s ice maker which quit after 6 weeks.
