I have been searching for an outdoor rug for my small condo patio & finally found the one!! my patio is concreate & is getting old looking but I don't want to put the money in redoing it so I decided to cover it with the outdoor rug & this rug is perfect (8x10) - the Gertmenian Indoor Outdoor Classic Flatweave Area Rug so far is easy to clean & the materials that it is made up of are so durable - the back of my yard has many trees so I get leaves & twigs & all the stuff that falls from trees - in between when the landscapers come I'm always sweeping & there is no problem the rug still looks like new - as far as the weather it has only rained & it stands up well - don't know if I'll leave it out in winter yet - the design is lovely goes so nice with the setting (royal palm leaves green) - my table & chairs don't slip or move around on it yet it's easy to move them if need be - totally recommend the Gertmenian Indoor Outdoor Classic Flatweave Area Rug!! ... show more

Bigger purchases such as this are always a 50/50. I ordered this rug with that in mind. I opened it up, rolled it out and fell in love. Its a sturdier fabric, but not that plasticy or rough twine weave that other outdoor carpets are made of. The pattern is great and does not look cheap. I have this in my enclosed sunroom so I can't speak for the durability of outdoor element exposure, BUT I can say I've wiped it where kids spilled some juice and there was not stain or sign of cleaning. Bought this rug for my sunroom. My dogs like to stay in that room and the rug is perfect. Extremely durable and is easily washed outside with a garden hose and dried in the sun.
