    • Great rug! Lasted four full years in year-round outdoor weather.
Edit/update: It lasted four good years before the edges began fraying. It still looks decent, but the sun is eventually taking its toll. Each spring I'd take the pressure washer to it, with the wide, low pressure nozzle, to remove the previous year's dirt and mildew. I'd wash the top, roll it off of the patio, rinse the concrete then roll the rug back out and rinse it again. It stayed out in the open 24/7/365. I'll happily be replacing it this coming spring. After a few months in the sun the rug lays perfectly flat and still looks great. So much easier to roll out a rug than to wash/etch/paint a concrete patio! Probably last longer as well. Have a nice pattern without using paint and over-priced stencils. Soft on the feet and cool when the sun's beating on it. Only issue is the wrinkles - it's nice not to spend the extra money to roll onto a tube that will just be thrown away. However... it would be nice if they actually rolled it instead of kind of folding it (sloppy rolling job that results in lateral 'slats', about 4" wide.) They're not a tripping hazard nor even really noticeable when standing up and looking down. They are readily apparent when looking from a shallow angle. Not terribly concerned about my application, I'm certain the sun and usage will flatten it soon enough. I can understand others not appreciating the wrinkles though. ... show more

I purchased this for my laundry room and I love it. My laundry room is pale apple green with white trim and cabinets, fish water color art and navy blue fish cabinet knobs. The rug compliments the room nicely. It had a slight ripple due to the way it was packaged in shipping but has laid flat after a couple weeks. It is at the entrance from the garage and does not show dirt from the traffic. It vacuums very easily. It sits on top of tile with no pad underlay and remains fairly stationary. The background is a navy blue and the fish are cream colored. This rug is perfect for any indoor or outdoor application. I would definitely recommend this rug and would purchase It again. ... show more

I live on the beach in Costa Rica where it’s a constant battle with the wind blowing sand, dirt, and dust. I have gone through so many rugs I can’t count until I stumbled onto this perfect rug. I use it in my living room and could not be happier!! It’s beautiful, comfortable to walk on, the creases worked out in less than a week (thank you humidity!) and the best thing is it is a DREAM to clean!!! In the future I will ONLY BUY THIS BRAND!! I've had this in my outdoor seating arangement for about 4-5 months now. It still looks new. Moderately comfortable. Colors haven't faded. No rips or signs of wear. I'll be purchasing more from this company.

I have been searching for an outdoor rug for my small condo patio & finally found the one!! my patio is concreate & is getting old looking but I don't want to put the money in redoing it so I decided to cover it with the outdoor rug & this rug is perfect (8x10) - the Gertmenian Indoor Outdoor Classic Flatweave Area Rug so far is easy to clean & the materials that it is made up of are so durable - the back of my yard has many trees so I get leaves & twigs & all the stuff that falls from trees - in between when the landscapers come I'm always sweeping & there is no problem the rug still looks like new - as far as the weather it has only rained & it stands up well - don't know if I'll leave it out in winter yet - the design is lovely goes so nice with the setting (royal palm leaves green) - my table & chairs don't slip or move around on it yet it's easy to move them if need be - totally recommend the Gertmenian Indoor Outdoor Classic Flatweave Area Rug!! ... show more

Love everything about this rug. Day and night it's very pretty, calming and it accents my back porch perfectly. Especially stunning at night. Like there must be a light source above me casting these beautiful palm branch shadows on my porch! I really like that. Makes my backyard a tropical paradise.

I wanted to share that after purchasing and using these rugs (one inside and one outside in the rain, snow, hot, cold for 2 years, these rugs hold up beautifully!! I highly recommend. The outdoor rectangular rug just adds a little colorful, homey touch to a small sitting area. The indoor placement is for a stair landing (just recommend some stickies to keep the rug in place).
