Sizing is spot on, very comfortable and very warm. Hood feels right and fits well. Interior of pockets is a soft fleece like material. Sherpa material is only on the body and the hood so sleeves are slick and easy to put on and off while wearing a long sleeve cotton or polyester shirt.     • very soft, warm, light, fluffy and comfortable, and the colors are nice
I went with the men's small. I am 5'4" and weigh around 132 #'s, and usually wear women's medium to large size, and the men's small fit just right, not too loose and not too tight, hitting just at the hips, so not too long and I am not feeling engulfed in a too big coat. It looks atttractive on. It is very light weight and comfortable. I am wearing it as a fall coat, but will use it for layering under a winter coat later on. The sherpa lining is very soft. The only thing I did not really like is the cheaper thin plastic zipper which is working o.k. for now and I hope it will last. A thicker sturdier zipper would work a lot better - I have a zip up hooded sweatshirt that has a thicker sturdier zipper than this coat has, and it's just a cloth sweatshirt. So 1 less star for that, but still very soft, warm, light, fluffy and comfortable, and the colors are nice, so 4 stars for that. ... show more

Over the years, I've had a number of Gerry products and have always appreciated both the quality of those products and the very reasonable price I paid. Unfortunately, during a recent move, I lost one of my favorite zipped, pile Gerry jackets. While searching online (unsuccessfully) for a similar jacket, I came across this Gerry Puffer Jacket and decided to try it out. The "original" price was $79-89 (somewhere in there) at which point I probably would not have purchased it but it was on sale for $29. I am 5'10", 200lb with an athletic build; the Lg jacket fit great. The jacket is light in weight yet surprisingly very warm, keeping me quite comfortable in the negative winter temps we've experienced lately. Construction is good overall. The outer nylon is relatively thin so I'm not likely to use this jacket while "working" outdoors because of concerns that the fabric could be torn fairly easily. I do have issue with one of the 2 zippered side pockets as the zipper frequently gets caught on the inner part of the seam. The ""sherpa" pile lining on the inside is comfortable and warm but I was initially a bit disappointed that it didn't extend into the arms (many companies don't do this so as to make the jacket easier to put on and take off). My only other disappointment was the lack of any inner pockets; it would have been nice to have one for a phone. Overall, I am very happy with this Gerry jacket relative to the price I actually paid. ... show more

This jacket is light, warm, soft and very comfortable. The hood is perfect and there are no hood strings, nor are they needed. The pockets are felt lined, and the zippers appear to be of decent quality. It is a very warm jacket, in extreme cold you could fit another layer of clothing under the jacket or use this jacket as the inner layer. Add to that a great price and I don't know how you could go wrong purchasing this awesome jacket. ... show more

Absolutely love this jacket. I'm laughing as I type this, because I didn't think I'd like this as much as I do. It's super comfy and lightweight. I'm talking SERIOUSLY comfy. Feels like you're wearing a fuzzy blanket. Perfect for chilly fall weather. Great price too. Size is true. It's a solid jacket. Warm but rides a little high on my back. Kinda weird. I'm 6' 180lbs and bought a large. It fits fine but likes to ride up my back a little. Just a little weird but not a deal breaker. Overall a nice jacket.
