Part of the bags under my eyes are genetic. You can not get around DNA. However, I was SHOCKED when I took the before picture. I do not tend to look in the mirror much at 45. Wow. I think I had been awake an hour or two before I decided to take photos for the review. As you can tell, there is a lot of puffiness/swelling. I'm sure the discoloration is probably the DNA and the color of the photo. I apologize for the warm, and cool photo as I was in different rooms. First things first, provided in the box is a package with an allergy patch test you are to use initially. This is awesome. It is so important, especially for products used on your face, but you don't see them offered or suggested often. I went ahead and washed my face and applied. I was clear of any reaction! The gel patches come in a pair within individual packets. When you open it up, one side of the patch is covered with a soft covering, while the other side is covered to preserve the product. Before putting the patch on, as well with the test patch, it would be helpful to figure out how you would like to position them before using. The good thing about the pads/patches is that they can be repositionable. Once they are on, just sit back or do whatever you wish. I wouldn't recommend an activity where you will be sweating. The pads stay for the most part, but they aren't glued on, so they may fall off if you move around too much. They provide a soothing, cooling sensation. Even though there is a cooling sensation, it is not like menthol which emits vapors and could be irritating to the eye. It all stays contained within the pad. You can wear then from 40 minutes up to an hour. The photo I included was after 40 minutes. I couldn't believe it when I compared photos. As you can see, swelling/puffiness decreased considerably. Hooray! The product is recommended to be used every couple days (2-3). I completely forgot that this product can be used on other areas of your face and next as well. I will be trying that out next! I really like this product and the attention given to customer safety with test patches.

The aging process is not always fun. I’m getting lines around my eyes, and I mean on all sides! My friend recommended I try under eye patches. These state to wear between 40 and 60 minutes, so I use on Saturday morning while I putz around before getting dressed. I use again midweek right before bed. They are large and cover the sides of my eyes all the way underneath my eyes and nearly to the bridge of my nose. They are thick, and I know they’re there, but I never feel like they’ll fall off. Whatever is used to adhere to skin is really good. I must say they do reduce puffiness, and the skin around my eyes is more hydrated and smoother, including the small crows feet. It makes foundation and concealer do its job better and not settle in the lines. However, results are temporary, so regular use is needed to keep the hydration up. That’s no different than any night cream or hyaluronic acid crème that must be used daily. I’m getting results from these patches from using twice weekly. The first time I used them, my skin itched a little, but not bad enough for me to remove them. Every application after that was fine. Test patches are included in the box but I skipped that step. If you have sensitive skin, you probably should use the test patches.

These eye masks are great. Each set comes individually wrapped in a foil pouch. They are generously loaded with a sticky collagen infused gel. The patches are adequately sized and cover the entire under eye area. These hydrogel patches feel cool and refreshing on the skin. They are non-irritating and I had no redness or adverse reaction to the product. The pads are easy to remove from the backing and easy to apply. They do stay put once they are placed but you can reposition them gently if you need to. I wear them at night for around 45 minutes and the results are immediate. Moisture is restored and puffiness and fine lines reduced. The effects get better over time with consistent use. After about a month I noticed a big difference in skin texture and color. I am hoping with continued use that the results will be even better.

I love these hydrogel eye patches. They are loaded with good stuff to target under-eye issues and concerns. There are 14 to a box, each pair individually wrapped. Each eye patch inside has a peel-off backing. One thing I really love about these is that they are not goopy. When you open the package, there is no residual sliminess inside that I have experienced with a lot of other eye patches. The backing comes off easily and they stick amazingly well to my face where other ones will slide around. I leave these on for about an hour and they don’t budge. Because of that, I worried the first time that they would tug on my skin when I took them off but they don’t at all, they come off very easily and gently. When I put them on after cleansing, my under-eye area looks crepey and dry but after I take them off it looks hydrated and smoother. I know that continued anti-aging benefits will take time to see but so far I’m super impressed with these eye patches. Included with the patches is a bonus pair for an allergy patch test. There are a few ingredients in these that could cause irritation for some people so including the patch test with a smaller amount of them is a thoughtful way for people to test these out first. I did not experience any irritation or redness or itchiness. There is menthol which can create a cooling effect but I didn’t really notice much of that. Highly recommended!
