Let me first say I know boots. I’ve always been into boots and my footwear. I have bottom barrel crap boots all the way to $600 dollar custom fit Wesco boots. These are great boots for the money. The soles are a little slippery on polished concrete and tile but otherwise are great. Super quiet walking around. I feel like I could sneak up on anyone in these. There has been a little break in but nothing horrendous. I’ve jokingly referred to them as my work slippers for being so comfy and light. I’m glad I didn’t listen to Amazon’s recommendation on sizing, they recommended a 13. I got my usual sizing of 11.5 and it was perfect. The only complaint a have is the toe box is short and the top of my big toe wants to rub a little. Not bad but that’s my nit picky complaint. I think after some break in that will go away. Are these comparable to my Wescos or high end Danners? Well, no. But for the money, it’s pretty tough to beat. I tried some of Carrhartt’s boots that were around the same price point and these Georgia’s beat those and left them bleeding in the moonlight. ... show more

The Georgia Boot Men's 6" Wedge Work Boot is a nice work boot but the sizing runs small. I normally wear a size 12 but with Asian made shoes I typically find I have to go a size bigger (size 13). In the case of the Georgia boot, I actually had to go two sizes up (size 14). But once you figure out the sizing you need, I have nothing but praise for the boot itself. The boot leather is so soft and comfortable it's like wearing slippers around - there is no break-in period for these boots. I work on construction sites and so my boots get a good work out every day. I bought my first pair about a year ago and there is still much life left in them. I wouldn't be surprised if they last for two years. I have worn many different brands of work boots over the past 30 years but I would rate these Georgia boots right at the top of my list for comfort, looks & longevity. ... show more

I have pretty wide feet. I have a hard time getting boots to fit my feet because of that. I normally wear a 9 1/2, but opted for 10's to hope they would just maybe be wide enough. Well they are actually a true wide fit. I was shocked because that is hardly ever the case I find. I was also surprised by the quality of the leather and the workmanship of the boots. I work in a warehouse on a concrete floor every day. I was hoping that these might help with the fatigue from that and they do a lot! I did change the insoles out because like all footwear the ones that come in everything now a days are terrible at best. But between the awesome fit for my wide feet, quality of the boots and how much they help me feel better from being on a concrete floor all day I wish I would have tried Georgia boots a long time ago. If I had to judge the company from this one pair of boots I'd have to say that they are much better than most any footwear company out there I have tried in a lot of years. ... show more

My husband builds movies sets and works on concrete floors all day. This boot was recommended to him by a shoe maker because it is a flat bottom wedge boot and designed for construction workers who work on roofs and in concrete work. My husband has severe arthritis in his knee and we have been buying a pair of boots every few months because he can't get any relief and is hurting all the time. He said most books will start making his knee hurt just a few hours into the day. He said this one does not hurt him as early as the other ones have and that they have good support in them. They also support his ankle. But they aren't a miracle boot, but they seem to be better than most he has tried. He said the fit is a good one and it is a really nice looking boot. I've had a pair of these boot for about 8 months now. They are very comfortable & are holding up very well. I have my own woodworking business & I am on my feet all day long, 6 days a week & these boots have treated me well. The only thing that surprised me when I purchased these "Georgia Boots" is that they are made in China. But in spite of that, I'll keep 'em. It is very difficult to find a work boot that doesn't have all that padding around the top. Update: I have now worn these boots almost daily for 6 years & they are still great boots. I am a furniture maker and I am on my feet most of the day. Showing some cracks in the leather (not broken through). Never polished them or treated them with anything. Soles are in great shape and the inside is also in great shape. Best boots I ever had. Though I can still get some more use out of them, I think it is time for a new pair.
