Great boots. Ive bought over 50 pair of boots in my lifetime so I have a bit of boot experience. The fit is good out of the box. I wear an 11M. An 11.5Wide fits my foot perfectly but after a little wear my foot slides around causing blisters. So, I stick with an 11M. My right foot is a little bigger than my left. The neck of the boot is a bit tight when putting them on. Which is a good thing because your foot will stretch it over time. My foot doesn't slide at all These boots are everything you can expect from GAboot. They fit well out of the box. The sole is a little harder than you'd expect a wedge sole to be. But they have awesome arch support and will get softer with time. The leather is super soft. They scratch very easy and the color will be revealing due to the neutral color. But, I like them overall. Whomever buys these boot will enjoy them if you foot size is like mine. ... show more

I'm loving these boots. I was a little skeptical being a carpenter and wearing moc toe boots primarily. But these work great for when you're setting forms or doing muddy type work that's hard on moc toe boots. These are perfect for that ,slip-on put some insoles in them they're super comfortable and super tough I don't think I'll ever not have a pair of these in my truck ... show more

I purchased these boots for my husband, who is a fan of George's. Since they were intended for his use, I initially considered his standard size of 11 wide. Nevertheless, after reviewing the feedback from other customers, I discovered that these specific boots tend to be slightly larger than expected. Consequently, I opted for a smaller size than usual. Although he typically prefers boots with laces, this time he chose a different style. The price was ideal, especially considering the boots were on sale. We have consistently been pleased with George's products and believe they are worth the cost, even when not discounted. These boots have proven to be just as durable as other boots and are exceptionally comfortable. So far, he loves everything about this product, particularly the style, arch support, and comfort it provides for his feet during extended shifts of 10 to 14 hours or more. ... show more

    • 12Wide is not as wide as other georgia work boots like the logger or the barricuda.

In a 12 wide I have very comfortable fit in other georgia lace up work boots, like the barricuda and the logger, both steel toe and regular. This boot however is narrower even in the wide size. I can still wear it because the leather stretches, but the outside of my foot and small toe stretch a noticeable bulge over the sole on the outside edge before the toe area. I would have returned and went back to the barricuda lace up version of this boot if I hadn't already treated the boots with waterproofing that darkened them. I was hoping to get the awesome light weight comfort of that boot in an easy slip on, but its not quite there. Id feel bad returning them at this point, but maybe thats a me problem. Excelkent quality, fit and finish. Fit is true to size. A 10 xw is truly a 10 4e. The leather is tanned to perfection. The shock absorbing wedge sole is a darker tan and does not show dirt as a lighter colered sole does. Well made and rugged, these engineer's boots will last and last. They finally fix the upper leg rubbing softened up on the threads 3rd pair soles last 1-3 years like them better than my way more expensive boots thy look good even after I wear the crap out of them and drip everything in the world on them!
