I’ve been changing my own oil in my cars for decades and I consider using the exact replacement that the car was designed for to always be a good option. The only problem that I have with it is that it’s unusually difficult to get the threads started. The filter on model Toyota Camry is a bit difficult to access and is at a slight angle, which makes it difficult to install. The tolerances on this filter must be particularly tight. I had to remove the splash guard and install it from underneath. This is only the second time in years that I had to do so. Despite this I still recommend it over any other filter. ... show more

I have used this on many oil changes for my 2016 Tacoma. I have never had any issues. Works great, always go with oem parts and you'll never go wrong. They even pre-lube the gasket.

It's an OEM filter, which is a good thing, some aftermarket filters have internal issues. For not much more in money, I'd go OEM.
