This is a genuine Honda water pump. It's perfect. I put the water pump, timing belt, Tensioner, Tensioner Idler, Idler, and spark plugs into my 2014 Accord EX-L V6. Everything went on well with no issues. Take your time and watch some videos and it will all go fine. It's a long project. Also, there is some Honda-specific coolant that you should purchase ahead of time. Bring a good set of tools, there's not much room. Most bolts are 10, 14, 17 and 19 millimeters. The project will take you all day if you are not a professional. One other word of advice. Removing of the crank bolt is required. There is a specialized impact socket designed specifically to remove that bolt. I highly recommend acquiring that socket. It will save you a lot of time and trouble. It is sold here on amazon. The aftermarket versions of this water pump look like they were chiseled out of melted beer cans by five year olds vs. this pump that is aerospace quality. Considering the amount of labor it takes to get to this water pump, the cost of a failure, and the obvious difference in quality; the only choice is OEM. ... show more

    • Exact fit for my 2010 Japanese Honda Inspire.
I had my old water pump changed because my tensioner and timing belt was also changed so that the mechanic only needed to go in my engine one shot. I am very happy about this move.

I can definitively state that in comparison to other aftermarket products, the build quality and fitment has no match.
