It smells nice. It does not make you itch nor does it cause build up. It is very smooth. It did not seem to hold my hair that well. It was too soft...never hardened. I had to keep my hair in double twists for a while for it to not come un-retwisted, other gels...I do not have to do this, but I'd rather this than to have build up & itching.

This was my first time using this product I was a little skeptical because it’s called gel but it isn’t like a wet gel. It’s more of an edge control consistency and is non greasy. I loved the texture and it has a wonderful light smell. It applies smooth and clear didn’t turn white or flaky and leaves a nice shine. It didn’t cake up when doing comb twist and it held my clients locs in place without using clips. Overall great product highly recommend and has become my new favorite.
