I've been really pleased with this so far. I only bought it to use in emergencies, but you're supposed to keep the battery "exercised" (use it at least once every few months), so I decided to use it as a "lamp" on my bedside table so I don't trip over things every night making my way from the light switch to my bed. I couldn't use this to read by, since the light is super bright when facing me and I always have to keep it turned in the opposite direction. People with less sensitive eyes might not have a problem with that, though. As far as an actual emergency situation, although it doesn't fully light up a room, it definitely gives you enough light to see by if the power goes out at night. You can make your way around and get things done, like brushing your teeth or locating objects, you just couldn't easily do activities that require distinguishing small details. I think the instructions said something about not using this for high-powered devices like a space heater, hair dryer, electric hot plate, etc. I think it's designed more for charging devices and powering things with a steady draw like an Internet router, Christmas lights, etc. I lost my record of the battery use, but from what I remember, if I'm only using the light and if it's shining continuously, the battery runs down by about 1% per hour. I don't know how long the battery lasts if you use other features like charging devices. Although the device isn't super light, it isn't actually heavy for people with average strength, either. A child could probably haul it around without much trouble as long as they don't have to do it for an extended period of time. All in all, I would definitely recommend this for use in camping or emergency situations, and it does all right with day-to-day use as well. ... show more

    • Great little battery, would be better with a PD port
I've only had this battery for a few days and only put it through some basic tests, but so far it worked well. I boiled some water in my rice cooker using the inverter, charged various devices, and ran an inflatable mattress pump both on AC and DC. The battery capacity seems to be matching up with what's stated and all function work as expected. My main complaint is that the USB C port is just a basic charging port, not a PD port. PD stands for power delivery and allows you to charge a laptop directly via that port instead of having to plug a brick into an inverter and can also put out a lot more power so the phones tend to charge faster. PD would also allow you to recharge the battery using a laptop charger but I don't really care about that since I mainly plan to use a solar panel with it when camping etc. If the unit had PD, I would give it 5 stars, but I suppose we can't have everything. All in all, I'm pretty happy with it. ... show more

Power pack did very well after I turned off humidity control and heat, didn't make it through the night but after turning off I still had 30 % of battery left. Happy with price and pegormance

    • It's small and light. Hope it has the guts when it counts.
Haven't thankfully had a chance to try this out. But its light weight has me concerned that its juice will not last long. I have some Ryobi 40V 6Ah batteries that weigh more than this apparatus. We'll see.

Small, lightweight, versitile unit with a very nice LED display. I wound up returning because battery capacity wasn't sufficient to run my portable refrigerator for a long enough period of time. I ordered a higher watt-hour unit to replace. Would have gladly purchased a higher-capacity unit of this brand, but they don't seem to offer one on Amazon. ... show more

I bought this to power my disabled mom's electric recliner. It works perfectly. We recently lost power for 5 hours and I was able to plug her recliner in with no issues.
