We just put it together last night so I'll hold the durability rating but it was pretty simple directions and seems very sturdy for two adults to sleep on. We both jumped on the bed last night and it held up great. Our main reason for buying a bed like this is to get rid of our box spring so mission accomplished! I like the material that the frame is covered in. Let me start off by saying I absolutely love this bed! I put the bed together by myself while my husband was out and I didn’t have any issues (I’m impatient and couldn’t wait for him to come home so I could start). 🤣 The assembly was straightforward and simple! The quality of the fabric is wonderful (I’ve included an additional photo to show the fabric pattern up close). My one issue I have with this is that there is absolutely no space for storage under the bed. With that being said, I purchased this knowing that already and was willing to sacrifice the space because I loved how this looked. It did not disappoint in that area 😁 ... show more

    • 9 months after purchasing my bed it collapsed! DHP (Dorel Home Furnishings) refused to send replacement parts to make repairs.

DHP Rose Linen Tufted Upholstered Platform Bed, Button Tufted Headboard and Footboard with Wooden Slats, Queen Size - Grey ~ Nine months after buying this bed it fell apart and collapsed. The weight rating for the bed is 500 lbs. I weigh 245 lbs and sleep alone and at 58 years of age I can tell you there were no extracurricular activities happening in my bed. After removing the mattress I discovered the problem. Several of the plastic pieces used to hold the slats in place had broken in the center of the bed as well as two that were broken on the lower right portion of the bed. (See photo 1 and photo 2.) ~ I contacted DHP to have them send me the broken plastic pieces mentioned above. They agreed but said I needed to find a sticker on the bed to obtain the model number they needed in order to order the replacement parts. (See example sticker in photo 3). A friend and I pulled the mattress and moved the bed to the center of the bedroom to look for the alleged sticker but there simply were no stickers anywhere on the bed. ~ I contacted DHP again and explained there were no stickers on the bed. They insisted the sticker had to be there. I explained we had looked on the frame, behind the headboard and foot board and there was no stickers at all anywhere attached to the bed. The DHP representative blamed me for not finding the sticker and refused to order the parts I needed. ~ So I sent DHP my receipt for the bed and a link to the bed on Amazon so they could determine which bed I purchased so they could get replacement parts. Even with that information DHP refused to order and replace the broken parts. ~ The plastic parts were to thinned walled to support the slats which is why they broke. The bed is cheaply made with shoddy parts and DHP will not stand by their product. Learn from my experience and purchase nothing from DHP. ... show more

Works ok, too many pieces. A lot of time and work in putting it together, although instructions were readable. Will be a trouble to transport if needed-too many pieces. It won't hold a lot of weight. In general, it works, looks good.

I bought this bed to stage a house to sell.I would never want to sleep in but I have an amazing premium Scandinavian bed I am sure many others would be happy with it Great value none the less and it achieved the modern simple look to match the architecture of a modern contemporary home for sale Sold in 8 days.Gave it to the new owner as a gift! Once the linens are on it hides the frame which looks a bit low end Headboard looks fairly nice and the wood slats aren't my personal idea of comfort ... show more

Just got it and set it up. I did read the comments, so I was aware of the task of setting it up. I had three people total and it took a while, but it wasn't really that bad. Only thing was I was missing two little footies that go in the middle, but it wasn't that essential. It looks great!! No damage, all pieces were there (mostly). And it was honestly pretty easy assembly. I'll give an update in a few months to see how it's holding up. I recommend! ... show more

This bedframe is perfect for me. It is low enough so it doesn't cover my window that is above it, it looks nice and is completely affordable. If you set it up by yourself it will be difficult to put the legs of it on and gets pretty heavy lifting it while you do so. Also, I set this up by myself and it took me a little more than two hours. The directions are easy to follow and I did not have any issues with missing pieces. ... show more

Love this bed. I am always satisfied with everything I get off Amazon, and this was no different. It does, however, take a good 2 hours to put together and that was with 2 people.
