I didn’t purchase this trim for looks but the generator looks better. I bought this trim to keep the chipmunks out it. Very easy installation. After attaching the 4 corner adjusters and snap the trim pieces together. The trim gives the generator a finished look and keeps the critters out.

MUCH less expensive than the OEM generator fascia...and very similar. The kit assembles easily, taking less than a minute to snap together. The only downside is that the locking tabs are on the fragile side, and I suspect that if you ever need to take the kit apart it may break the tab(s). One tab broke upon assembly (so be careful when putting it together), but it didn't affect the end result. A must have for keeping creatures out of your generator! ... show more

    • Makes your generator look a lot better, covers shipping holes in the base
for some reason Generac does not provide these with its 18KW generators.. it comes with all larger generators. I have the 18KW model and love the finished look these give to the unit. It also covers small shipping holes at the base of the generator that are just the right size for mice to enter, something I certainly did not want to happen. ... show more
