OK, so when I tell you guys that I went through 7 different versions of THIS particular coat it is truly unbelievable! You really have to pay attention to detail because you think all the coats and colors are the same style but I found out that they are not... First of all I had to buy two different sizes because I'm tall with very long arms and my problem with most coats are that the arms are always short.. So I gotthe XL and 2XL in each style/ color that I was buying.. oh, I'm 5'11 198 pounds 42DD (that's important to know for comfort) and my arm inseam is 28 inches. Told you I'm tall with long arms lol The body of the XL was perfect but the arms were a little short and because of my big breasts if I wrapped my arms around (like a fake bear hug) it would feel snug around the shoulders and arm pits.. The 2XL was much better.. The thumb really makes a difference, which is what I wanted, because it gives you an easy extra 2 inches of fabric.. Now I will say that when my thumb is actually inside the hole that space feels tight... The body is loose, but I expected that because I don't usually wear a 2XL.. My normal size is XL or size 14 Luckily by the time I got this one I had unfortunately went through 6 other different styles by the same company so I knewwhat I wanted lol... I specifically wanted and needed the thumb hole as well as the drawstring waste because, as I mentioned, I knew the body was going to be too big for me... The gray colors and maroon color DOES NOT have that drawstring.. So be careful when ordering.. I found out the hard way and I hadthe worst time with Amazon messing up my return process with these coats... I'm in NY and it's coollldddd here... Without any sweater on underneath just long sleeves I haven't been cold yet... The pockets are deep but they are not lined.. the hood is lined though..... I haven't taken pictures yet cause so had time for that in the cold lol... But I'll get around to it when my husband is off... This is my first time in like 10 years having a winter coat that is waist level... My last coat was from Columbia it was to my knees and perfect with thumb holes and it lasted well over 6 years... But they don't sell that one anymore and the ones they have don't have the thumb hole.. I need that extra fabric for length in my sleeves (cause I have long arms guys, I'm not kidding) Lol, it fits my body so you can't tell.. But trust my shopping for coats and long sleeves has always been a pain.. Thankfully i love summer and warm weather so when the winter time comes I don't mind looking Manish yet comfortable because all my coats are big lol. I will update with pictures at a later time... But yeah, make sure if you want drawstring and thumb holes to get this color (Navy).. A lot of the other colors only have one or the other... Oh and it has a snow skirt skirt inside... 4 stars because it's not tested in the snow yet and there were a few hanging strings that I hadto cut off.. Very warm so far and the rain seems to bounce right off.. I didn't stand in it long but that was good ... show more

I am a size 18/20, full figured plus size gal and I got the 3XL. Purchased this coat for a trip to Kansas City (I live in FL and literally wear hoodies when it's cold so...I needed a snow/wind/rain proof coat). It snowed, rained, was windy and cold and this coat did it's thing! Kept me so warm and dry. Only complaint is that it is a bit bulky when wearing it and storing it BUT those two things didn't bother me enough to write a bad review. Has multiple pockets and zippers. Hood was big and roomy. Adjustable straps everywhere! Came in a variety of colors too! Would most definitely purchase this coat again! ... show more

I really wanted to love this coat. It's beautiful and fits as expected. I'm a 5'10 F 150lbs and hate when coats fit put when I move my arms they feel tight Soni sized up to XL. I was firsr disappointed that the sleeves weren't lined with the fleece throughout. It only covers the torso area. I was hoping that with this coat I could skip a mid later on the way to work. Secondly, I was crushed to find that the pocket lining of the chest pocket was ripped. I couldn't achieve deep into the layers of the coat. All the pockets are lined with a thin fabric and thread. I was hoping to keep my phone in that pocket while sking. I do like that the jacket keeps me warm in -20 Temps in Alaska and is very cute and bright. I bought a matching set in blue for my husband. Can't wait for it to arrive and check that out. ... show more

I wanted a warm but comfortable and packable coat for my trip to New York City. After going through a half a million products and reviews, I settled on this coat. It went beyond my expectations! I spent four days in the January wind and snow of Manhattan without feeling uncomfortable at all. In my photo, Iโ€™m crossing over the Brooklyn Bridge and the wind was really strong. Obviously I layered up underneath, but this coat definitely made the difference between being cold and staying comfortable outdoors. I felt like I didnโ€™t look like the Stay-Puft Marshmallow man; another big reason why I like it. Iโ€™d say my only complaint is that the hood doesnโ€™t want to stay up, and the Velcro fasteners on it were too large to fit under my neck ... show more

I moved from Georgia where it's sunny and warm even in the winter to Massachusetts where it's gray and cold even in the summer. In desperate need of a new winter coat that is lightweight and can withstand hiking in Massachusetts' brutal, bitter winters, I found this gem. The coat is super light and doesn't weigh me down as I walk or hike, which is good as it gets so hot in this jacket that on several hikes I had to take the jacket off mid-hike and wrap it around my waist. Then my waist got hot and sweaty. Now, I have not hiked in weather below 30 degrees since I got this jacket, so it's not exactly winter tested, yet. So far, it's every thing I expected, but this coat is a little tight in the hips and flattens my boobs into pancakes. The rest fits perfectly. I lost 50 pounds and went from a size 22 to an 18. This coat does not come in an 18/20.It only comes in a 20/22 or a 16/18. I wish there was a tad more stretch to the coat. On the inside, the coat is soft, but the outside makes a scratchy noise as you walk in the woods. Hibernating bears won't wake up, but the squirrels and birds will know you're in the woods and steer clear. Maybe that's a bonus. Anyhow, the jacket is nice. I only bought gray because it was on a flash sale for a lot cheaper than the other colors, so I won't rate the color, but I really prefer the pinkish-red color better. ... show more
