If you are not familiar with Amazon Vine, it is basically Amazon trading free* products for honest reviews. I do my best to make my reviews honest, real and value-oriented as if I had paid for each item I receive. * These items are not totally free as Vine members pay income tax on the items they receive. I only mention this because we Viners do have some skin in the game for each item we order. Why I ordered this item: I needed a new purse that could work both as a shoulder bag and crossbody. I've been carrying the same old bag for way too long and wanted something that looked more grown up but didn't cost a fortune. Likes: * The leather feels rad for the price. It's soft and has this nice pebbled texture that doesn't look cheap at all. * I can wear this three different ways. The strap detaches completely so you can carry it as a clutch, or adjust it for shoulder or crossbody wear. * Storage is good. There's a main compartment that fits my wallet, keys, phone, and makeup bag easily. Plus two smaller pockets inside for organization. * The stitching looks really good and the hardware feels sturdy. The zipper pulls have some weight to them and don't feel flimsy. No likes: * The zipper is wonky sometimes. You have to line it up just right or it gets stuck halfway. Once you figure out the trick it's fine, but it's annoying at first. * This leather scuffs pretty easily if you're not careful with it. I already have a small mark on the front from bumping into something. Would I pay full price for this product: Yes Final thoughts: For what I paid, this bag punches above its weight class. I’ve been searching for a purse that is on the smaller side but can carry all of the items that I regularly take with me (big wallet, makeup bag, sunglasses, water bottle). I used a backpack for years but it was time to switch. This purse is it. The purse is true to the color advertised, with the gold metal contrasting beautifully with the burgundy. The interior is a nice tan color that gives the purse an elegant and clean look. It’s about 16 inches tall, the bottom of the purse is wider than the top and it really can hold quite a bit of stuff in it! I love that it has pockets on the inside and outside of both sides of the purse and in the divider inside of it - there are plenty of options to store items that I want to access quickly. I was worried about the water bottle not fitting, but as shown in the photo, it fits perfectly with space to spare. The fact that the purse is stiff enough to stay up is also very helpful when I need to grab something like my wallet out of there. The purse material feels soft, I imagine that it wouldn’t take much to scuff, which means being extra careful is going to make the difference between how long it lasts. The stitching is basic but well done. The zipper for the opening of the purse is a little tricky to zip: you have to line it up for it to zip, and the inside portion of the zipper does not look gold, but rather black. I don’t really mind those details, as it’s not a name brand purse. You get what you pay for in these cases. All in all, I think this is an excellent buy for $19.99. ... show more

I have been looking for a simple black purse to take with me on the road and this one is absolutely perfect. The faux leather material is incredibly soft but still feels thick enough to hold up to daily use. I really appreciate the adjustable shoulder strap because I can wear it across my body when my hands are full of gear. It holds a surprising amount of stuff without looking bulky or getting too heavy to carry around the truck stops. The inside has plenty of room for my wallet and my driving logs and all my little everyday essentials. I was honestly surprised by how nice it looks in person because it feels much more expensive than it actually was. The zippers slide very smoothly without catching on the inner lining which is always a relief. It wipes clean easily if I happen to spill coffee on it during a bumpy ride.
