Man, this is an amazing little speaker. As a multi instrumentalist I needed something versatile. This speaker is perfect! It has all the features I wanted and much, much more. I plugged my bass directly into it and it sounds great, as good as any comparably priced bass amp IMO. I can play along with songs on my phone with Bluetooth and it also functions as a guitar amp, with an amp simulator you can get any sound you want from it. There are a lot of features I have not tested but honestly this may be the best thing I have ever purchased in my life. I am hoping it will be a faithful companion for years to come. I can see myself using it for performances at small venues, it seems ideal for karaoke and general use as a Bluetooth speaker. Tl;dr - this Gemini speaker is a Swiss Army knife of sorts, it might not offer audiophile sound quality but it sounds good and I am thrilled with my purchase. ... show more

    • Item not working except when plugged into car cigarette lighter. Battery does not charged.

When using "Bluetooth" option not the best sound output in a large (banquet size) room. I found it necessary to amplify the volume to max on the speaker and set my pc to max volume when using the Bluetooth option. And the quality of sound became distorted once I turned speaker and my pc to max volume. I purchased the Gemini AS-15TOGO because I'm a DJ and I wanted a 100% portable set-up for throwing parties in places where there are no power outlets, such as the beach, camp sites, etc. I specifically chose the Gemini because the power output and included features seemed very attractive for the price. Competitive products with similar power output (such as the JBL PartyBox 310) sell for more than double the price. After testing the AS-15TOGO out at home and bringing it to the beach for a full day, I can say I'm happy with my purchase. The sound quality isn't gonna blow you away, but it's more than acceptable for DJ purposes. Although this speaker is advertised as a "2000 W" speaker, I did some research and found that the amp is rated at 200W RMS / 800W peak. I was hoping maybe I could squeeze out a bit more volume than that, but it's still very adequate for small-medium size outdoor parties with 40-50 guests. The Bluetooth functionality works great, the connection is reliable out to 25-30 feet, and it pairs with my laptop and my iPhone instantly without problems. The ability to play MP3s off an SD card or USB flash drive is also convenient. Lastly, I was able to get about 6.5 hours of continuous playback at maximum volume on a full battery. Overall, this little speaker fulfills its intended purpose at an inexpensive price point. I plan to buy another one and daisy-chain them together so I have a proper stereo portable PA system. ... show more

The monitor performed as expected and meets my needs. However the Microphone was defective. I have other microphones so I decided not to return the monitor. I sent an eMail to customer support but unfortuneatly I did not get a response.

Ive read nearly all reviews b4 i bought this and heres what i got. it was packaged well. It came with a %75 charge,so thats cool works well. Has the volume you'd expect given the 300w rms and 10" spealer.loud enough for an outside audience of about 70 ppl give or take. More volume range if its inside with walls reflecting sound. The sound is great. Im singing and playing acoustic guitar though it. You could use electric gtr but id be sparing with the amount of distortion. Think blues/classic rock not metal. The mic i use is a $40 dollar headset mic and it sounds clear. Really good. If you want to play music off your phone through it,please understand, typical midrange priced bluetooth device speakers dont come with a compression driver/tweeter. Some reviews have said bad sound with music playing . well most full on pa systems are running through a well adapt mixer board for that application. Maybe down load an eq app for your iphone/droid idk. And lastly,if you turn any unit like this past 3 oclock on the volume knob,you'll get scratchy sounds and distortion. Thats on par with most sound equipment especially battery operated ones. Like i said not a bose or jbl. I knew that when i bought it but worth every dollar of price. ... show more
