The Gelante Solid Color 100% Cotton Bucket Hat is exactly what it promises: a simple, well-made, and highly versatile accessory. I picked it up in black, and it has quickly become my go-to hat for everything from yard work to quick errands, and even casual beach trips. The Great: The 100% cotton material is the star here. It’s lightweight, incredibly breathable, and keeps my head cool even under the summer sun. Unlike cheaper synthetic hats, this one feels comfortable, and the fabric washes well without shrinking or losing its shape dramatically. The brim offers good, functional shade without being floppy or oversized. For a simple accessory, the quality-to-price ratio is outstanding. It’s durable, the stitching is clean, and the solid color is easy to match with virtually any outfit. The Deduction (Why 4 Stars, Not 5): My one complaint is the "one-size-fits-most" sizing. While it fits my head snugly, I could see this being a tight squeeze for people with larger heads, or conversely, a bit loose for those with smaller frames. Because the cotton has minimal stretch, a more specific sizing chart or a few additional size options would make this hat truly perfect. After a few washes, the color has also started to fade ever so slightly around the brim edge, which gives it a nice worn look, but is worth noting if you need it to stay intensely vibrant. Overall: If your head falls into the "average" size range, this is a fantastic, reliable bucket hat that nails the classic look while providing genuine comfort and utility. Bought it for a Don Ramon costume for my dad. He says it fits well, a little bit big for him but he's okay with the sizing of it . We ordered a small/medium for size. It's pretty sturdy and the light blue is exactly the same as the photo shown. Overall it's exactly what I needed.

My husband loved this hat! Great quality for a good price. We are in the Caribbean and it kept his head from burning and also less sweat due to it being white. It’s not too heavy of material either.

Several reviews say it is “more orange than yellow” I wanted yellow, but they only had “gold.” GOLD looks very “yellow” and they have they sell an “orange.” I would called their “gold” LIGHT ORANGE. One reviewer called this “gold” color “not bright yellow, but more of a pleasing yellow” Colors are subjective. Even customer photos of the same color look different.
