I typically pay at least $40 with tip to get a gel manicure every 3-4 weeks. This kit has already paid for itself tonight. I am really impressed with how well my nails turned out. The true test will be whether the color lasts the full 3-4 weeks like my salon manicure. One bit of advice would be to be sure you apply the base coat in a very thin layer. It does not take much. I did 3 thin layers of color because I wasn’t sure how it would cover, but next time I will do just 2 thicker coats. The lamp worked perfectly and my nails were completely dry after I cured the top coat. Very impressed. My only reason for 4 stars is the size of the top coat bottle. The small bottles of color I can understand, but it would have been nice to have a full size top coat. But at this price, it’s not a big deal to buy topcoat when needed. Update… So I changed colors after just 2 weeks because I wanted to get rid of the Halloween purple and go with a dark rust for November. While I don’t think they last quite as long as a salon gel manicure, I definitely could have made it a good 3 weeks before I would have needed to do them again. I bought a gel remover here on Amazon that really worked great to remove the purple. After I shortened and shaped my nails, I used the included buffing block to prep them. I only did 2 thicker coats of color this time - that’s all that’s needed. The top coat cured perfectly again, and I am still really happy with this purchase. I’m not the best with painting, but I think my nails looks pretty darn good for doing them myself. :) ... show more

I am so blown away by this product! This is my first time EVER, I didn't know what to expect because I was looking up different products and reading the reviews but this one seemed to be it so I gave it a chance and I'm happy with my purchase! They have so much colors the process is so quick and easy, I loved everything it came with. Even the lamp worked well. I would definitely say give it a try. Honestly works really well I was surprised. I like having a million colors to choose from. The light is painless and all of the tools are helpful. Honestly 9/10. Not a lot of decorative options but the colors are good quality.

I love the choice of colors that come with this kit! I have been painting my own nails for 40 years and this is easy and convenient. Hopefully it will last the full 2 weeks. I will update in 13 days! Well, it's been 4 days cleaning chicken coops and lots of housework. There's no chips, just a little of the tip rubbing off, but I am the only one who can see it! Overall, I do give it 5 stars.
