Much more support than a spring mattress. Is nice and firm, very comfortable. Came in a much smaller box than I was expecting, was not that heavy, unrolled easy, was able to sleep on it within 4 hours. I don't expect this to last me years based on price, but it doesn't have to. For how cheap it is it is comfortable and does a great job. Would be ideal for a guestroom or a temporary (12mo) situation (which I am in). Nice bed for the cost. Seems very firm but softens as you lay there. It’s used in my spare bedroom so it doesn’t get a lot of use but so far my guests report that it’s very cozy. It did have a pretty strong smell when I first unwrapped it. I used some baking soda to try to absorb some of it and let it air out for a while before using it and it seems fine now. ... show more

I bought one of these mattresses to replace a veryyyy old mattress in my daughter’s old room which now serves as a guest room. I was worried about the quality because it was honestly so affordable. But our first guest was my husband’s friend who is 6’4” and 220 lbs and he said he slept better in this mattress than he did at home! So I bought another for my other daughter’s room. She is away for college but when she came home to visit, she was so grateful and said it is very comfortable. That says a lot because she has back issues.
