Last year my employer sent us all gift boxes which included a Geeni smart plug and I really liked it. I then started buying other Geeni products - more smart plugs, sensors and switches. After getting a new headboard for the bedroom I purchased this Geeni strip light. I was extremely disappointed with the control and lack of brightness. For Christmas I had given one of my kids the Govee strip light with wifi/remote and it was incredibly bright even in the middle of the day with the blinds open in her room. This Geeni strip light is not even visible in the daytime with all the blinds closed and at 100% brightness. Secondly, there is a button in the app to select the white color. It is NOT white. It is very blue. The rainbow color select is hard to precisely choose what color you want. For a few dollars more look at the Govee strip lights. ... show more

I buy from geeni a lot and love their products, this is the fourth led strip I have bought and I have several problems, even after cleaning the area where I stuck the leds they fell almost immediately, a part of the leds don’t work, and they refuse to connect to the google home app. I have 9+ lights from this company that work fine so maybe I just got a bad one? ... show more

I bought these two put behind my headboard in my bedroom. They stick really well even on the fabric. I love that I can control the colors and make it dim when my partner is sleeping. You do have to get the geenie app to install them and to make schedules etc but then you can link it to your Google account and control it by voice or other Google routines. ... show more

After a few attempts, I ended up buying velcro strips with stronger adhesive in order to stick to the underneath the counter. The remote is attached to the strip light so it’s not as convenient. However, connecting it to wifi and through a phone app allows you to control it anywhere. One main issue is we bought this and the extender kit but they don’t attach. This kit has 4 prongs while the extender has 6 prongs.

These lights provide excellent value and I used them for under the cabinet lighting. However, the stickiness is not the strongest so be prepared to use the provided holders to supplement the adhesive as well as wiping down the area and preparing it first.
