This silk APL checks all the boxes. #1 - It looks fantastic! It is shiny and the awesome reflectiveness you want from a silk. All of the models I have printed with it are beautiful to look at. #2 - Print quality! The first layer went down perfectly as did every layer after that. There is no stringing other than tiniest whisps that I can't even see until I take a close up photo. And those disappear with a quick once over by the hair dryer. The filament ships on a hard plastic spool that works in the Bambu AMS and is easily adapted for the AMS lite. It you are looking for a Royal Blue silk finish then this one is just fantastic!

Got this for some Lethal Company bolts for my friends. Prints just fine. There is some heavy shrink in certain conditions but didn't really effect the print quality past a couple minor lines. Adhesion to both the bed and layer are great. No breakage at 2 perimeter shells (printing at 210c)and holds nice. The bolt top and bottom screw together and the top only got a minor crack when the best pup in the world hard dropped it on tile. I would still give it a 5 if not for one issue, quality control in wrapping. Mid-way the first print, I have a cross wrap. It hasn't stopped it yet as it keeps pulling free, but remains crossed. Due to the nature of what im printing, I'm running it to see if it ultimately becomes an issue, as if it doesn't end up stopping the print, it's no big deal. If I find another cross though I'm leaving it a 4.

I decided to give this Geeetech Filament a try and was pleasantly surprised. The filament arrived quickly and was packaged very well and was the very first filament I have ever purchased that came will a separate storage bag to help keep the filament dry. This was a major plus for me as I switch between filaments regularly and use quite a large number of storage bags and dry boxes. My first few prints have come out great on my Bambu X1C with a nozzle temp of 230 and a bed temp of 60 for the first and 2nd layer and then 220 and 55 for the remaining layers. This provided a good bond to the build plate without too much of a layer shirt and no layer delamination. I am going to try some additional temp changes to see if this filament responds better, but so far this filament is pretty good, great actually. Also, this filament comes on a plastic roller, which for any Bambu Lab AMS users out there, is a huge plus.The filament roll fit perfectly in my AMS unit and with the exception of Bambu Lab's own filament rolls is one of the best I have found for working with Bambu's AMS system. So looking at the cost per KG and the overall quality of the filament, packaging and dryness of the filament I am going to have to give it a 5 out of 5, and it's a solid buy. I am actually going to have to see if I can order this filament in some different colors to try out. This could very well make it on to my list of favorite filament brands.

The filament itself prints great. I do actually like using it. However, the simple fact that after printing with 4 rolls, every single roll, at the end of the spool, has gotten caught in the spool, causing the print to fail (extruder grinds filament because it can't pull more in, and I don't have a sensor to detect if the filament stops moving through the extruder). That simple fact, that I know when I get a print that will finish the roll, will ultimately fail (I mostly do prints that take 1/2 to 3/4 of a roll of filament, wasted probably a full roll so far due to this terrible problem). The really stupid part, is that Geetech themselves could fix it by NOT bending the filament the way they do when they start a roll. because of this, the filament sticks in the VERY tight hole that they have in the spool, and ultimately causes this problem. I'll switch back to Elegoo filament instead, at least their filament doesn't get stuck in the spool at the end of the roll.
