This tri-color silk PLA didn’t disappoint either; it continued that streak with ease. This review covers Geeetech Silk PLA Tri Color Filament (1.75 mm)—a coextruded blend of blue, purple, and black with a metal-like shimmer. I printed all test models on a Creality Ender 3 Pro, using settings that represent what most users might try out of the box, with only basic tuning. All prints were done straight from the spool with no drying. Test Setup • Printer: Creality Ender 3 Pro • Nozzle: 0.4 mm • Slicer: Cura 5.10.1 • Layer Height: 0.20 mm • Infill: 20% • Bridging Enabled: Yes • Bed Surface: Longer textured glass plate • Ambient Conditions: Approx. 24 °C, ~65% RH • Print Time: Approx. 2 hours Print Results Metric Observation Dimensional Accuracy Cube: X 20.15 mm, Y 20.12 mm, Z 19.92 mm. Cylinder: Ø 19.95 mm, Height 19.75 mm. Excellent tolerances for standard calibration pieces. Layer Adhesion Strong; models held up well under light flex and handling with no signs of delamination. Surface Finish Smooth satin sheen with mild reflection. The tri-color effect adds a premium look without overpowering detail. Bridging Clean on all spans of the temperature tower; consistent filament flow, no visible sagging or webbing. What a beautiful color. Lots of fun! This filament is reliable, easy to work with, and produces consistent results. Geeetech Silk PLA delivers exactly what you want from a silk filament—gorgeous color, high-gloss finish, and sharp detail. No matter which color I’ve used, they’ve all come out vibrant and eye-catching. With a 0.25mm nozzle on my Flashforge Adventurer 5M, I get clean, professional-looking prints with minimal stringing and excellent bed adhesion—no glue or tape needed. Diameter is consistent, and I’ve had no extrusion problems. Prints well at 220°C right out of the box. Most models come out strong, though I’ve had a bit of layer separation on thin-walled prints—but that’s likely more on the slicer settings than the filament. Spools are perfectly wound—no tangles, no surprises mid-print. Packaging is tight and professional: vacuum-sealed with desiccant. For the price, this filament punches well above its weight. If you’re after that silky, polished look with rich, beautiful color and reliable performance, Geeetech Silk PLA is a win.

Awesome, easy to use TPU. Very minimal stringing with almost no drying before printing. Very impressed. Great price. Very flexible and strong. Color is also great. Tested on both my A1 and A1 mini, worked fantastic on both. Very excited to print more with it!

This is my first TPU and it works pretty nicely on my Bambu Lab A1. It's a little stringy and bridging is a little bad, but that's bound to happen with TPU. Note that TPU is very challenging to print with and can cause clogs during loading the filament. I used 230C nozzle and 45C bed to print this tennis ball. The filament is not brittle at all and flows pretty good with nice adhesion. Overall, a solid TPU for the price.

***UPDATE*** Seller was kind enough to replace my original tangled filament, very grateful for that. The second time was perfect!! Print was smooth, no tangles, prints were perfect. I will order again in the future. Worst filament I’ve used thus far. It was tangled from the middle. I printed and it was tangled, I cut it to untangle. Printed okay. Tried printing again today, hoping to come home to a new plant pot and it was tangled again. From the middle. It is how the filament is wound onto the spool.
