The is a good out side protected wire for burial or open to the out side weather. I had to cut the cable for my usage and I also added a flex wire sleeve to protect it from Squirrels and other rodents where it was above ground I noticed the wire has a second protective plastic coating for protection when I was install a connector end to the cut wire..
