i bought this for some jackets and work pants that get used allot and i wanted to keep them in good working condition. It works well, but i was a little worried that it would kinda go to waste since it is a wax and it's only going to stay on the clothes till you wash them again. But it works good on jacket zippers, and I would suggest it to anyone who has a work jacket that get used allot it helps to keep the zipper moving freely. Pros; works good, could last a little longer, Cons: it's a wax, it works good for intended use.

AMAZING for Wrangler Zippers

This is crazy easy to apply and it takes just two swipes to work it in. The zipper lube brings your crunchy zippers back to brand new zipping condition- like the day the top was made. It didn't correct my skipped tooth zipper, but I have to completely unzip the window to fix that. So it isn't magic, but it does work really well for rejuvenating old zippers. I haven't put anything on my zippers in 4-5 years, this made them back to brand new.

Zipper lubricant works.
Style: Soft Wax – Single Stick 0.5 Oz
As a lubricant for the Jeep soft top zippers, this product is superior to that offered by the OEM. It works better and holds up longer at a reasonable price. The solid state prevents leakage compared to the OEM product, so you actually have some when you need it. Highly recommended.

Product Works As Expected.

I bought this Product because it had good reviews from other people who had Jeeps. I bought it primarily to keep the zippers on the soft top windows in good repair which would allow them to open more easily and smoothly. I had never taken down my soft top before as this was a new vehicle delivered in December. I cleaned the zippers first with toothbrush dipped in Dawn Dish Soap and water and lightly scrubbed the zipper on rear window. After allowing time to dry, I rolled on Zip Tech like applying Chapstick and worked it into the teeth and then i opened. And closed each zipper a few times to work it in. Viola! Easy Zippering!

Great for all applications, awe inspiring in technical applications.

During tri season, I bought this for the zipper on my wetsuit to try to make working the stupid zipper easier after those long swims and hopefully avoid standing in the transition area looking like a stupid monkey with a banana taped to my back. Worked like a champ. I also tired it on all my backpacks and technical gear, works great. Although for cold weather applications, just make sure you don't get too much on there, it gets sticky. And same goes for applications in dirty/sandy environments, extra lube attracts sand and dirt like a magnet and kind of defeats the purpose. And if you have technical clothing with taped seams, this stuff is amazing! Taped seams can be a bear, especially when you need them most (like when your frozen fingers are trying to get into a pocket) but this really does keep them working smooth and reliably.

No miracle

Not much of a difference when I applied it to 5 zippers on my rock climbing day pack. They still seem rough to close but they open a little easier. I was hoping to extend the life of the pack with this product but the damage is done. Maybe it would help to prevent wear on new zippers but I wouldn't call it a fix for old ones.

Does the job

Apply like chapstick to the nylon zipper when OPEN. Then close, open, close, etc to spread it around between the teeth. It makes it glide perfectly, with no sticking at all. I use it after every dive, when the zipper is completely dry. I have two, one in my bag, one in my office. It's a great product that is NOT messy at all to apply, no mists or sprays. Just apply, run the zipper up/down a few times, and store your wetsuit/BCD/etc. with no worries that it won't zip the day of your next dive.
