Nice lights and colors. The sticky back was not strong enough to keep lights up. Had to use the enclosed clips but there needs to be more clips! Also, lights constantly disconnect from the bluetooth.

The lights are beautiful, they are bright and vibrant. Each set of 3 led can be a different color. I thought it would be each individual one. The adhesive to attach the strip is useless. I originally put these on the back of my desk but they kept coming unstuck. I had to move them to a wall and use tacks to support it. They include 5 clip/tack things, they suck. I found it was easier to use a regular thumb tack. The power cord is incredibly short if you plan on putting these anywhere thats not right next to an outlet you'll need an extension cord. The custom light shows are a cool idea, tho dont seem to be very user friendly. I also havnt figured out how to do custom show with strip and bulbs together. ... show more

I generally like GE Cync products, I have a few. But this one was by far the most disappointing one. There are a few reviews on here about bad adhesive, take them seriously. The adhesive was awful on this. I thoroughly wiped and cleaned the area I was going to place this on, and the adhesive just would not stick. It sticks better to the paper covering it than anything else. The actual lights do as intended. There is a thin grayish line on the back that is designated for cutting, which isn't exactly told to you so I had to research it. I like Cync because of the app simplicity and easy connection to Google Home. I am disappointed in the adhesive and expect better from GE. ... show more

First off the "double sided tape" on the light strip is a joke. It's very thin and sticks about as well as plain plastic - that's IF you don't end up pulling it up while you're trying to remove the backing that has a weakness prone to breaking every couple of inches and a clean break every six inches for some idiotic reason. If you're going to buy these, get real double sided tape. The AC adapter's wire is shorter than I'd like. The lights are MUCH slower to respond than the originals. So much so that I sometimes thought they didn't get the signal. Finally, the lights are a bit dimmer than the originals at full intensity. Overall, these are a grossly inferior product compared to the original. Sad to see with the increasing competition. ... show more

Unless you have a ledge that you are sticking these lights on top of these lights are not the ones you want!!! The adhesive is incredibly weak, I set it up the night I got them and by the next morning they have all fallen onto the ground. Using command strips I've managed to keep them in place and am keeping them since the lights look nice and the app has decent functionality and is relatively intuitive. I would stay away from this product, given that it's on the more expensive side I expected higher quality, but this is not better than the cheaper lights you can find on Amazon or elsewhere.     • GE Cync App is Awful and Won't Connect to Light Strips

I absolutely love the light options for this product, but I unfortunately am unable to utilize the many dazzling features advertised because my light strips will not connect to the app. It will connect to my wifi, but after that it refuses to connect to my "home". I've googled, redditted, talked to GE tech support numerous times, and nothing would help to connect the light strip to the app. I'm a tech-savvy individual with an IT professional living in my home, and still nothing. In all that trouble-shooting research, it appears I'm not the only one; there are seemingly dozens or hundreds of other people who've had similar issues with other GE Cync products, so I've deduced it's just a crappy product. I've had great success with connecting to any number of cheapy lights that come from China with their respective products and apps, but I wanted to give this product a try since I foolishly assumed it would work better. But alas, GE is garbage as well. Super disappointed with this product. ... show more
