This works really great with my Samsung TV as well as with my Sanyo (apparently wiil work many TVs). I stream and have Roku on both TVs, each TV has it's own remote (I have 4 total remotes) . My main TV is a Samsung and the remote easily controls the (1) TV, (2) Roku (to call up different subscriptions like Amazon, Netflicx and YouTube TV) as well as my (3) sound bar. I love love love these! Bought 2 since our dog keeps eating all our Roku remotes. They are super easy to program and the backlighting on the buttons is game changing. We have different colors so we know which tvs they are programmed for but it takes seconds to use them on any tv. Just keep the codes or tape the list of applicable ones for your devices to the remote. I will definitely be getting more when my dog gets to these. ... show more

Works great so far. Got it for backlit function and to use on Vizio smart TV. Controls TV and streaming svcs (usually Amazon Prime) with no problems. fyi: I've seen lots of people with complaints of searches for Fire TV remote showing remotes that won't control Fire TV. Amazon searches don't limit by keywords, they expand by them. Said search (for Fire TV) will bring up any page where the keyword is on the page (such as a Fire TV listed below the item for sale). Don't rely on the search to bring up items that meet your needs. Always read the item's description to see if it matches what you need. Search results will vary from keywords by size, color, brand, compatibility, et al....... ... show more

I have three TV's and a boyfriend so I need 4 remotes (2 for the bedroom!) I purchased four of these two years ago, and I LOVE them! One remote, backlit, simple & easy to use. AND if you keep dropping it on the hardwood floor, or lose it, its easy and inexpensive to replace. Works great! I have no complaints! I LOVE that it comes set up for Samsung, but its easy to re-program if SOMEONE messes it up by accident ;-) I purchased this previously and will purchase it again if He gives it away again! ... show more

It is light and for the most part durable (I dropped it a few times on the title floor and it did not break). The controls buttons are design in the right place. At first, I was disappointed that I could not assess the Internet, Prime, Netflix with just one button...that is until I found the button that took me to all of these and then could select which app I wanted to go to (you would have thought I would had read all of the instructions first). This remote worked better then the original remote that came with the Samsung TV, which broke after a couple of drops (Samsung's replacement was to be $110 and a 3 week wait time). I GE's Backlight liked so much, I bought a second one for my Vizio TV, in order to replace Vizio's original that never did work well and is hard to use. ... show more
