    • Hard to get incandescent bulbs!
These are 75 watt, incandescent bulbs, super hard to get these days. They are sold as a specialty item (the only way to get incandescents these days) using less wattage to achieve the brightness. They are bright enough, seem to last a reasonable time (it's been over a month using one, and it is on more than half of every day). It is a soft white and I will continue to buy them. I do watch the price however, because it fluctuates constantly. A good deal for those of us who do not like the toxicity for landfill and humans of LEDs. ... show more

I bought these for my 90 yr old mom; she refuses to buy the LED, says they’re not bright enough for her to read, and they’re nowhere to be found in our area. I’ll be buying more, thanks to Amazon!!!

The soft white lights I find are great for use during the evening hours because the light is not excessively bright. I prefer these due to my light eyes because they are easier for me to see with.

Just incandescent lightbulbs purchased before the incandescent ban took effect on 8/1. They met my expectations, are just the type of lightbulb I prefer. The ban is unfortunate but understandable.
