It's a little stiff at first sit but I'm completely comfortable in it now. Love the green color and fabric. It's perfect for small spaces. I got the recliner to help with my knee surgery recovery and it gets 5 stars for that. I spend 2-5 hrs. a day reading and watching tv in it. Also use it for sit to stand PT exercises etc. I am 5'6, 135# and the height of the back is comfortable for me. Sometimes I add a pillow for the back of my head if I'm really tired. I love this chair for myself! It is comfy, cute, reclines easily just by pushing back on it, and it easily fits in our small living room (did not think I would find a recliner that would fit). The only reason I give it a 4 stars is because it is not as comfortable for a taller person. The foot rest is shorter and when my 6 foot tall boyfriend puts his legs out all the way the foot rest starts to fold down. We still kept the chair, I recline comfortably and he slightly bends his legs and flops out his knees when he reclines haha. ... show more

Let's face it, you are not getting Ethan Allen for this price, but I am very, very happy with this product. It's the smallest recliner I could find and it works very well in my small living room. The green is beautiful. It was very easy to put together, but get a friend if you are not supposed to lift anything heavy. Very tall people will need a pillow to support their heads. It's fine for me (5'7"). The reclining mechanism works well. I usually put a throw down when I lay back to watch a movie, as the study fabric is a little rough my bare arms. Comfortable, easy to assemble, and just the right size. I'm about average height and I felt like I was at the upper end of who could fit on this chair, but ultimately it wasn't a problem. It's super easy to assemble and looks great as well. It's maybe not the most comfy chair around, but for this price I wasn't expecting memory foam, and ultimately I had no complaints. ... show more

These are great for small spaces. They are a little longer in the seat than I'd like as they are a bit difficult to get into reclining positions (maybe stiff because they are new?) I like the firm back, but wish the seat had a soft layer of padding, so they would be firm but soft to sit on. However they look nice and I'm happy with them. ... show more

Assembly is ridiculously simple. I did it in less than 20 mins, including unpacking. Just add the legs and attach the back part. The color is as described. It came very well packed. No scratches .     • Very cute, but could be better
I got two of the green chairs and am obsessed with the look, color, everything and fit seamlessly into my mid century mod house. The comfort level is, ok, firm but decent. The two cons since having them have been 1) when in recline, on any level, there’s no way to “lock” it into place. So you’re having to put some kind of constant pressure backwards to keep it reclined, which after a while makes you not comfortable because you’re tense. So that’s a bummer. And 2) this fabric is not going to last… the chair I frequent the most already has a worn spot forming and piling just from me resting my arm there and holding onto it when I stand and it’s only been a week! That makes me worry about longevity of the fabric. Other than that the recline is easy and so is the going back to upright. It’s quiet, perfect size for my small space and again the style is awesome. So my suggestion would be maybe use these for decor, seating area etc and not for actual furniture use or recounting for tv etc. ... show more

I bought two of these green chairs and they get a pretty decent amount of use between my household, company and our dogs! I took these close-up pictures to show that after over 2 years, these have held up well. There is some pilling but it’s honestly less noticeable in person compared to my zoomed in photos. I purposely took the photos like this to show how well the chair has held up. My dad has spilled coffee on them and we’ve had some muddy dog paws…and I’ve had no issues getting it out! Would I recommend sitting in these for hours to watch TV? No. But they are comfortable and very pretty. Highly recommend. ... show more
