This is a hearty set of dinnerware consisting of four large plates, four smaller plates and four bowls. The style is clean and rustic modern. The color is an earthy green. Note these are quite heavy. I am used to corningware so anything would be heavy compared to that but these are heavy nonetheless. Some unevenness in color, as you can see on the side of the large plate in the photo. It could bug someone or add to the rustic look.

This would be a good starter set for someone. I was happier with the plates than the bowls, which were a little too light weight and small. I understand the color is not supposed to be solid, bit had an odd area on one of the bowls.

I got these plates mainly because they have a lip. They are nice thick ceramic plates. You get 4 dinner plates, 4 saucers, and 4 bowls. I feel it was worth the money.

EDIT: I am changing my review from two stars to five stars. GBHome reached out to me immediately and offered to send me a whole new set of dishes. This set arrived perfect. I am very pleased with their customer service. Excellent company. I am super happy to have a full set of dishes as I love the sleek modern design of this set. Unfortunately, I received a broken set. The GBHOME Ceramic Dinnerware Sets for 4 is a nice set, but the packaging isn't sufficient for delivery. The appearance of the dishes is modern and sleek. The quality seems good, but looking at the broken plate, they are very fragile. The ceramic seems rather porous which is likely why the plate came shattered. I think I am going to stick with stoneware. The broken ceramic is razor sharp which isn't safe. I was really hoping this was a really nice set. I would have bought a second set, but after seeing the shattered plate, I am going to pass.

I love how this set looks, it's stunning. It's really nice to have a full matching set of dishes too. My favorite part of this set is the fact it's scratch resistant. I love how these plates have a bit of a lip on them, which is great for food with sauce!

I was pretty impressed right away with the weight of the package. The set comes nicely packaged and there were no chips or cracks in the set anywhere. Inside the main package, each item is then further packaged individually based on its category. I got the reactive glaze, speckled black set and it's very nice looking. The design is simple, yet elegant, and should fit nicely in any kitchen/ dining setting. Each piece is solid and heavy and is chip and scratch resistant. Nice set! Very pleased. The center of my plates have a raised area, but honestly, it doesn't bother me, and somewhere I read it has something to do with the thermal surface of the bottom.
