I was so impressed with the way they were packed!!! They were obviously in perfect condition due to the packing and were indeed matte black. The dishes are a good weight, not too light or overly heavy. They will definitely go with any decor. My kitchen is still being renovated after Hurricane Ian, so I will have to wait another month to use them. I can't wait!!!

This is an absolutely gorgeous set of stoneware plates and bowls! They are a medium weight, I would say, and glad for it, as I am getting older, and some of our ceramic plates are too heavy for me to wash dishes, or hold while we eat on the couch. They came exceptionally well protected! I should taken a photo of that, cause I have never seen dishes come like that. Well done! We ordered the Earth Green color, and it is every bit as beautiful in person, as on the screen. I love that the plates have a straight lipped edge, because it holds sauces really well. So far, no scratches on the glazing, and I wonder if they are oven safe. We like to keep plates warm in the oven while we are cooking. We don't have a microwave, and we wash dishes by hand, but if you use a dishwasher or microwave, these are safe in those. They seem very durable, and the quality is outstanding! Amazed these are under $70, really. We got 2 blue stoneware dinner plates recently for $25. Outrageous for those 2 plates! These are truly amazing for this 12 piece set. The photo shows the large dinner plate, and you can see how much it holds, and the deep edge. Super happy with these! Highly recommend!

These are without a doubt some of the most beautiful dishes I've ever owned. The glaze on them is reminiscent of the type of deep glaze that you'd seen on some ceramics from the 70s. Thick Hull. They look even more beautiful in person than they do in the photos. Surprisingly light, these still have enough of a heft to them that they still feel like solid quality. All of the plates and bowls are a great size. I love love love the edge lip on them (wish more plates had them). And they stack perfectly in my cabinets. Everything came packaged really well. Nothing was damaged; not even any chips. Highly recommended.

I am very happy with this set. They are well made, sturdy and thick and have a very good look to them. I like that they have a "lip" on the edge, makes it easy to Keep the food on your plate or help to scoop up those last bites. It was packed well and all pieces made it just fine, even though the box was somewhat abused in shipping. I would recommend these to anyone looking to make an upgrade...
