  • I am pleased with this product.
Well made and durable. There are a lot of bolts used during the setup. Several were missing near the end. Usually, kits provide several extra but this one did not. This was a frustrating but fixable issue. The design is great and everyone who uses it finds it a great product. I would buy it again and would note that none of the reservations I had before purchase were actualized upon arrival. If you need one of these, I believe this may be a great option. ... show more

  • Make sure products that’s sent is what is ordered
It and the shifter were great very disappointing that the wheel that I ordered was shipped wrong so I had to reorder it and just hope and pray that the correct one comes this time

  • Decent, but with design flaws, needs more support
Holy bolts. Get ready for some assembly. Use a low torque drill to speed it up. The instructions are minimal. Would have helped more if the bolts were labeled instead of a big bag, but you’ll figure it out. Ok, but the frame seems pretty sturdy, the pedal connection and the cockpit swing arm are nice. The weakest part is actually the seat itself at the bottom seat connection. It’s just a big stretch of Velcro and some fabric. Even at 175lbs, I walk on glass around the seat just to make sure I don’t break a seam. The foot pedal supports are surprisingly short. I’m 5’ 8” and I max out how far the pedals can mount and still wish they could go further. My legs feel a bit cramped. This is geared towards kids, not adults. The unit arrived with some dings in it and black touch up paint is visible. Not sure if that was during manufacturing or if this is a returned unit. For how many “adjustments” you can make on it, I haven’t found that it actually has the right adjustment points. It could benefit from the steering wheel assembly to be telescopic or with different mounting points for depth. There aren’t enough horizontal braces for the pedal mounting to really support a G29 setup - shown in photo - had to add in my own support since the manufacturer wouldn’t offer an extra part. It really needs a third support so the pedal plastic doesn’t snap. The seller also does not offer any spare parts to help this. Overall, not terrible if you are shorter than 5’ 8” but not great either for the price due to lack of usable adjustments. ... show more

  • Works as intended and is stable
Not really too much of a complaint but nuts, bolts, etc do not come labeled, be sure to have some free time to set it up, otherwise it works great!

  • Nice racing cockpit with sturdy build and thoughtful design
This is actually a pretty solid racing cockpit for the price. One thing to note right away is that the product listing says "Platform: PlayStation 4," which makes no sense. This rig is not tied to any specific system. I’m using it with an Xbox wheel and everything works perfectly, so you can ignore that part of the listing. The frame feels strong and well built. I’m close to the maximum weight capacity, which I believe is around 280 pounds, and it supports me without issue. At first glance, the seat looks like it's just suspended between the rails, and in a way, it is. It’s a flexible fabric seat, sort of like a hammock, but there’s a support bar underneath that helps hold your weight. Once I sat down and got situated, I felt more comfortable after a few minutes and stopped thinking about it. I use the Logitech G920, and the mounting points lined up easily for both the wheel and pedals. The pedal tray is adjustable, and I have it set to the furthest position. It works for me at 6'1", but anyone taller may find themselves wishing for a bit more reach. I’d say this cockpit is best suited for drivers under 6 feet tall, but it can still work for taller users with some adjustment. The steering wheel mount is easy to swing open, which makes getting in and out of the seat much easier. Assembly took about an hour and a half, but some of that was me sorting all the hardware into compartments first, which helped a lot. The instructions are good enough to follow, though not the most detailed. Once fully built, the frame is very sturdy and has no wobble. The reclining feature on the seat is a nice bonus, although when fully reclined, I do need to bring it up a notch for better pedal access as I feel to be a bit too tall. In terms of comfort, there’s not much traditional padding. The seat is made from strong, flexible cloth, which supports well. It holds up well during longer gaming sessions, but if you’re looking for plush comfort, this may not be it. I personally found it comfortable enough for several hours of use. I haven't used a shifter yet, but I did install the included shifter mount just to check it out. It's very sturdy. I’ve actually been using it as a little side table to hold my phone while racing, which has worked out better than expected. One last thing worth noting is that the seat folds up nicely. It’s surprisingly compact when stored, which is great if you're short on space. It's not flat, but folded does help. Overall, this cockpit has been a great addition to my setup. It’s sturdy, functional, and thoughtfully designed. A few minor limitations for taller users, but nothing that breaks the experience. It’s a solid value and a big upgrade from a basic wheel stand that I was using. ... show more
