We got this bed for our son, it’s is his Big Boy bed, if you are transitioning from a toddler bed or crib I would recommend getting some kind of safety guard, definitely has some sharp corners. It did not take half hour or an hour to put up. Maybe professio also who are used to doing it did it but we are used to doing g stuff like these as well and it took a longgggg time to set up. However, it was well worth it.
