I went from a Backflip trifold cover, to this Gator cover which are 2 very different price points, but I think when you factor in how reasonably priced this cover is it is the clear winner. It seals great, no issues with water, it looks good, was easy to install and also leaves access to the steaksides. Like another reviewer, I had trouble with the clamps. They sit in the rails fine until you start to tighten them, and that's when they tweak to the side. Because I couldn't for the life of me get them to stay straight, the rails aren't perfectly lined up and there are a few small leaks. The worst leaks are actually near the cab, where the cover is attached. I'm hoping a few beads of silicone will take care of that. Installation was actually frustrating without someone to help hold the rails in place, and took well over an hour. Once everything was in and tightened, the cover actually looks great, and seems to be holding up well despite the few leaks here and there. We'll see how it deals with a northeast winter. I installed this on a 2010 Chevy Silverado. UPDATE 5/1/2020: I'm really happy with how well this tonneau cover is holding up! I haven't had to adjust it at all, and it's done fine through the winter. Someone had told me the soft covers were junk, but I disagree. I'd definitely recommend this product. Upping my rating to 4 stars. ... show more

The cover seems to be very well made and installation was pretty easy. There is a You Tube video on how to install the cover that ought to be referenced in the installation instructions. It would have saved me a little bit of time had I watched it before installing mine. Even so, installation only took me a little over an hour. I just installed it last night and haven't had it out in any wet weather so I can't address how water tight it is. It appears to seal up quite tightly and definitely has better seals than my old cover. ... show more
