Ordered Wednesday May 6 and received Friday May 8. Carton was in perfect condition and install was easy and straightforward. I did some minor adjustments to get the corners to sit more flush and seal better, but it's real easy. It looks great and folds easy. Haven't had it on long enough to experience rain yet, but I would assume some rain might get in but will likely be negligible. So far I love this bed cover and will update later if my opinion changes. Also, for those wondering what size bed, mine is the standard "mid" bed size or 6'4". The more common short bed is 5'7" but I would think that fit and assembly would be the same for that size. Update: I've had it installed a couple months now. The rubber seals on the top sides seamed to seal up better after being in the hot weather after a couple weeks, and have had no rain inside the bed. At first I got a tiny amount of water in the rear corners, but I assume those rubber seals weren't quite sealed yet from being folded in the box. So I am impressed with the quality of this tri-fold cover. Update 2: Six months in and this cover has proven to be a great buy! It hasn't leaked any rain into the bed ever since the rubber seals weathered into place. Removing it to load my 4 wheeler is stupid simple and goes back on just as easily. It has held up well to quarter size hail earlier this summer. No dents at all. I just spoke to a guy with a Bak Flip who has dents from hail, though I don't know what size hail he encountered. ... show more

    • Good Tonneau Cover for the Price, not water tight in back.

Looks good once installed. Installation was fairly easy. There are only 2 side rails to clamp down then you clamp the Tonneau cover to the rails in the back and you're done. It's a little heavier then I expected. There is no rail that goes across the back of the truck bed so it doesn't fit as well at the back as it does on the sides. There is a 1/4" gap between the bottom of the cover and the back truck rim all the way across. The gap is covered by the rubber gasket but the gasket does not rest on the truck rim because the side rails cause the cover to ride higher than the bed rim. So it leaks water under the cover in the back. If there were a mounting rail for the back I think this wouldn't happen. I guess if you want it to be water tight you have to pay for the more expensive models. ... show more

    • Hard Install & Not a Glove Fit

I found this to be harder to install that expected and the fit is not perfect, it does leak in water and on the back right on mine it's not balanced...there is a slight up/down gap. I wish the seal was better on this and the installation more simple, maybe with less tools or a built in tool.

I installed this by myself on my 2017 RAM Longhorn Limited & it’s perfect!! Took me exactly 30 minutes by myself... no help at all... & I’m a girl lol. :). It has improved my gas mileage by about 10% too. It’s strong, durable, looks sharp & semi-watertight. I added marine grade weatherstripping on the bed behind the cab and also in the 2 spots where it folds up. Now it’s completely water tight! My friend in work spent $1200 on a back flip then took it to a shop for installation. He “flipped” when he found out I spent a little over $600 & installed it myself lol. Girls can do anything! The cover is great, and the only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because of a broken snap (picture included). I understand this could have happened in shipping, but I wish that they would have included one or two extras in the packaging so I wouldn’t have to send in the entire cover to possibly have another one broken in transit. It is simply screwed down with two philips head screws, so replacement would be super easy on the end user but there wasn’t any additional parts in the packaging just in case. This part should be included since it is one of the weak spots of the entire cover. Other than that, it’s a perfect fit for my 2017 Ram 2500 crew cab with a 6 foot bed and it took no more than 15-20 mins to install. Not a bad cover, guarantees are a sham. I ordered based on the safety of the "Love it or Swap it" guarantee from Gator. I quickly recieved the cover and installed it. The cover only folds twice requiring me to climb into the bed and turn the handles to remove the full cover. Only I can't climb into the bed nor turn the handles due to arthritis. I called about the swap and was told a specialist would call be back in 24 hours. A month later, still nothing. ... show more

Bought the EFX Hard trifold based on positive reviews on Amazon. There were not a lot of reviews but the high percentage of good reviews were worth a shot. The cover was medium priced and a good value for the money. The EFX was very well designed and was very easy to install. (2 people) Make sure you install the drain tubes before the rails. The only issue we has was the truck's stock plastic bed liner was warped at the front of the bed, but we'll take care of that later. I'd buy again. ... show more

I waited a few months before writing this review. I would definitely buy this cover again. Cover is easy to install it took me about 30-40 minutes to install. But if I did it again it would take me about half that time. Water stays out of the bed of my truck, it has been been dry as a whistle. And cover seems to be pretty durable. Just FYI this cover is the tri-fold hard top. I noticed when I was reading reviews that they mix all reviews on all covers together from soft roll covers, soft tri-fold and hard tri-fold covers.
