My son has the soft top version, which was incredibly easy to remove and/or install. I work in a urban area where a soft top cover would be cut with a knife, just because, so I ordered the 3-panel hard surface unit. The 3-panel unit has two internal side rails you have to install, unlike the soft top which has no internal rails requiews. Watch the Gator video on how to install the rails and the 3-panel unit; they have some great hints for installation. Everything went well during the installation. The only item I'm having an issue with is the front foam seal which is installed along the front edge of the truck bed. I installed the unit in my heated garage and ensured the bed liner was warm before installing the foam seal along the front edge of the bed; it is not holding in the cold weather. As the eddy currents between the rear window and the front edge of the truck increase during highway/interstate driving, the foam seal is working its way loose and is exposed. I have to keep tucking the foam seal back under the rubber trim seal of the front panel. I'll apply a more permanent adhesive to the foam seal once summer is here to hold it in place. Otherwise, when you close the tailgate up against the last panel, you hear this nice solid thud when closing. I know the unit is not advertised as "water-tight" per se, but it's pretty darn close and it looks great. ... show more

This tonneau cover is awesome! I've owned several of the cheap vinyl roll up covers on my trucks before, but this one is amazing. I installed it by myself and took my time. A 2nd person would have made easier, but was still simple to install. Took me about 2 hours. It's not heavy at all. But definitely sturdy and well built. Packaged came with no visible damage and after unpacking and checking, everything was perfect and all parts were there. I'm still in awe at how sleek and low profile this cover is. Makes my truck look even better. Haven't driven in rain to test water leakage cause I just installed it. I checked all areas underneath and see no light coming through. The only possible spot for water to get through would be at the corners of tailgate area. I do see some small gaps there. Nothing is perfect when it comes to truck tonneau covers. Anyways, I love this cover and couldn't be happier with my purchase!! ... show more

I bought this cover due to the reviews and price. I was a little worried as i had seen reviews that people had problems with leaks or the latching not holding the cover correctly. We the product arrived i opened it the same day and finished the install in about 20 mins with minimal tools. Pros: the cover seems to be made of a good quality material. It seals out MOST things. I went through thunder storms and a carwash and the bed stayed dry. Dust however will find its way inside. The latching works well just be sure to follow the instructions and line the rails up correctly or they wont work as expected. This does not require drilling or cutting your truck. Cons: The rubber material that seals the outer edges appears to not like the hot temperatures or sunlight of Texas in the summer. The glue holding them down started to peel away slightly which was fixed using a stronger adhesive. Note for install: Leave the clamps holding everything down slightly loose to make final minor adjustments when you unfold the cover to line it up. Then lay on your back, slide into the bed and tighten them while the cover is still unfolded. Once tightened you should be fine to move it about. This will help make a better seal to keep water out and ensure the latches hold true. I would assume this is where many customers have issues. Overall great product, great price, and no regrets. This bed cover is very nice and fits my F-150 like a glove. I’ve only had it a couple days, but I believe it will serve its purpose for many years to come. I removed my old bed cover and installed the new one by myself in an hour. I’m proud to say it’s made in the USA!!! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Owned one for 3 years now and I have no complaints. This thing is built solid and easy to install and remove as needed, stays latched even at high speeds. I’ve been through the car wash, heavy rain, and snow with no leaks. The low profile looks nice compared to others on the market.

Edit: Was 5 stars, now 1. After a bit of use, this covers leaks where each panel meets. I have been in contact with customer service, and it only has a 3 year warranty. As of now, I'd spend a bit more on a higher quality cover, however, I will update this review once I finish working with customer service to see what the followthrough is. Original Review: I am extremely pleased with the quality of this cover, ESPECIALLY for the price! It fits very securely for when I keep valuable tools and other items in the bed. The channels direct water to the front or rear of the bed, and it comes with tubes to run through the plugs in the front of the bed. That's nice so your items do not get wet. I HATE when I see a truck with a hard cover that sits up 1" from the sides of the bed. The look just seems unfinished to me. Instead, this cover sits pretty low on the sides of the bed, with a very streamlined looks. The install was very easy! Just bolt on the rails and lay the cover on top. I like that you can pull the cords to unlock each panel via the nylon plastic clips. There is a cord on each side, so you don't have to run back and forth! My only complaint about the particular model that I bought (Tri-fold).... I thought I bought one that would fold 3 times, so you can access the entire bed. In reality the "Tri" fold actually only folds TWICE. When it is fully opened, 1/3 of the bed stays covered. This isn't a huge issue for the most part, and I can quickly remove the whole cover if I need to access the entire bed. However, given the opportunity to purchase it again, I would buy the quad fold version of this, for the few times that I need the full bed to be open. ... show more
