This is a GREAT chair. Visually stunning in the office. The leather is top quality in look, feel, and smell. All other materials are also excellent. The seat and back have a just-right solid/supportive feel. Substantial - always feels like more than a match for my slightly above average size (6'1"/220). Assembly is relatively easy. I see no cons in this chair but do have a slight concern that the arms are not as solid/durable as the rest of the chair - they look great and feel fine through a few months, but it seems like the attachment points (2 big bolts) could wear and become a little loose over time. PROS: *High quality leather, good stiffness, suggesting a long life. Feels like an automotive sports car chair that way, but perhaps a bit softer. *Metal in places where cheaper competitors use painted plastic (wheel hub, arms) *Large casters, meaning it rolls easily over carpet and the like *Cushy armrests *Easy to assemble: 8 screws (that's it!), hex key provided with package *High back: your head will definitely rest on the head rest CONS: *Price Originally I was very disappointed with the overly high seating position due to a long lift cylinder, but after a year or so the leather and cushions softened to a degree that the height is now just right for me. Note I am 6'1" and 220lbs, and (when I bought it) at the LOWEST setting, my knees are at 90* and my heels barely touch the floor. At the highest setting, my feet literally dangled off the edge of this chair. So DO YOUR HOMEWORK: at the lowest setting, the floor to top of the cushion measurement is 19 inches. An inch can make all the difference between a chair that is comfortable and one that makes you feel a little ridiculous. This chair will barely let my knees underneath the slide out keyboard on my desk. VERDICT: Great chair...but you have to sit in it quite a while before it reaches its maximum potential. Great feel to this chair. The back height is perfect for those looking to rest their head against it. That is something very hard to find. The leather and lumbar are perfect. It's not a super cushy, recliner-like chair. it closely matches a nice bucket seat in a car. The lowest height is too high to roll the arms under my desk. The wheels do not roll well and will need to be replaced with some rollerblade-type chair wheels. I'm also waiting on customer service to respond as the back of the chair and the seat is not square with each other as you can see from the picture. ... show more

Initially, I was very pleased with the chair's appearance and comfort. However, within a year, the recline mechanism started failing. I contacted Zuri's customer service and they replaced it. Now, another year later, the seams on the seat are tearing open. This isn't what one would expect from a leather chair. The description claims that the seat is "genuine leather" with a "leatherette" back. However the sides of the seat that take the constant flexing of the users weigh are not genuine leather. I once again contacted customer service who insist the chair was made as advertised. If you are looking for a chair that will last for many years, THIS IS NOT it. Look at the images from users who've had their chairs for a while, don't simply rely on initial reviews. A $150 faux leather chair will usually de-laminate. This material is so poor it simply tears open with only minimal use and an abundance of care. Absolute garbage! ... show more

The chair arrived in two shipments on two different days, which I believe was communicated by Zuri Furniture via email. The contents of each box were well packaged and protected. One of the boxes had external damage, but the contents were not damaged. I found the assembly to be very straight forward and the directions to be fairly clear and easy to follow. The bolts are pretty much idiot proof to prevent using them in the wrong locations. All of the components seemed to be of high quality and very well made. I personally think the chair is very attractive and it reminds me of sitting in a high quality leather car seat. I also found the chair to be very comfortable, especially when sitting in it for long periods. The chair has all of the adjustments needed to satisfy my requirements and I especially like the fact that I can lock the chair tilt in virtually any position. I'm extremely happy with my purchase and found the price to be in line with the quality of the product that I received. I could not rate support, as I didn't need any. I was looking for a classic style office chair, something warm and comfortable. I first bought a Serta from Tru innovations. It was completely damaged. Next a Lazy Boy Hyland, which seemed cheap, fake leather, wood dents, miss-aligned and lumbar support in middle of back, also Tru innovation (yuk). I did not go for some of the ergo chairs as I did not want the plastic mesh office look....I did not go for this one initially as some of the reviews made me nervous....Feet don't touch ground, not worth money and too firm of feel. I am 5'11 and feet hit the ground fine. The chair is firm, but like others have mentioned, more like a car seat feel, comfortable, but you are not sinking into inches of padding. Very happy with purchase, chair definitely worth money when comparing to other non-leather options ... show more
