This is a really great gate wheel that will help with any kind of sagging gate. I think I might have overdid it with this extra large heavy duty wheel for my gate but bigger is better, lol. The installation is fairly standard for a wheel like this but it is nice that it come with all the parts you need. It works as expected if not even better than I expected because I did not think it would be that big. However, I am glad that I got it and it has been great for the gate that I installed it on.

We're building a bunch of fencing at our farm and need some serious hardware to go with it, as I'm making gates that are large enough to let big pieces of equipment through- not just skinny little lawnmowers. Regular hinges won't suffice on gates that are 8' wide- need to augment their stability with a wheel. This was easy to install and has worked great so far- hardly any pressure remains on the hinge, and in combination, they should now last a very long time. Will be buying another for a second gate.

I like this wheel alot. It has a spring on it so it can deal with rugged terrain without issue while still effectively carrying the load of the gate. It can handle a gate up to 800 lbs, mine is roughly 600 and it is a breeze to open and close. The only thing I worry about is will it be able to deal with the weather without rusting. I've been looking for a wheel for my wooden gate for awhile but I couldn't find anything I felt would be strong enough to hold it up and roll across a dirt and gravel surface and this is worth every penny! The gate is 7 feet tall and about 5 feet wide and weighs more than I can continue to lift to open it. First I used an anti-sag kit to get it more square, then attached this wheel and it's so much easier! I had to MacGyver the fittings to attach the wheel- needed to install some new, stronger lumber to hold the fittings, but one that was done, it was relatively easy to install, especially with the included wrenches. The wheel mechanism itself was larger than I expected, the spring is also larger, and it's doing a great job of holding and supporting the opening and closing of this gate.

Solid, built tough and moves about without much resistance. I welded the place to the fence, and if you do so make sure to seal it to protect from the rust. Set up was easy and travels across the gravel without much of an issue. Helps hold up a droopy part of the fence rather than replace the whole thing!
